Hayward W3SP2607X10 Super Pump 1 HP Single Speed Pool Pump, 115/230V

This one. 1 hp pump is more powerful than the Hayward pump it replaced. The old pump was more than 15 years old and Hayward. A very quiet self priming pump. A bit of a sticker shock but I trust Hayward. runs 24 seven most of the swimming season in the northeast with a heat pump.

Called In The Swim and it was quickly answered and the purchase was made quickly. The great part is that we received the pump within 2 days without extra charges to get the pool system operating again. Thanks

I had it installed by a professional so can't answer this. It didn't take him long so it must have been easy.

Pump works excellent only thing was different from my old old had to modify my hook ups. New one the hook ups were about 1/2 higher.

Product was well packaged, and reasonably easy to install. Appears to be well made, and here's crossing my fingers that it will last as long as my last Hayward pool pump motor. Walmart offered the lowest price, but I missed my Capital One coupon by 1 day, which would have saved me 10%. Sure would have enjoyed getting $75 off this sale.

Pump works as expected. I did not realize the had 2 inch ports, we have 1 1/2 lines. It does come with a 1 1/2 reducer. But this does 2 things 1. another connection that may leak and 2. Makes the top connection a little different length, so you may need to do some cutting to shorten things to make the lines the correct length. Also access to electrical connections is very tight. I would recommend getting an electrician to hook up the electrical side.

1st shipment was not delivered, had to reorder, took almost 2 weeks to get, unacceptable. Pump itself is ok, wiring connectors are not for heavy 220 wire,even though its a 220 volt motor, that and shipping is my only complaint, therefore a 3 star rating, normally I get package from intheswim within 2 days, I think they have changed management or something,,not as good as they used to be, I will look elsewhere for pool supply

Ordered pump from In The Swim based upon delivery date. Due to weather conditions (temperature in low 90 degrees) the carrier delayed shipment 2 days. Plus the pump plumping size is 2 inch with reducers supplied but the collar on the reducer to pump connection was about 1/8 inch to high to connect.

handle broke and can't seem to get it replaced. wlmart contacted them said they would contact me but they have not done so

Since we purchased our last SuperPump, the style of this model had changed. The Input/Output ports changed from 1.5" to 2.0". The unit that we were replacing with this one came with adapters to allow use with our existing pool plumbing. However, with the adapters installed, neither of the ports matched up to existing plumbing. Therefore, had to return it for a full refund.
