These work great! Easy to connect to your phone.

I've literally hooked these up all over our house. We take a lot of trips so it's easy to go into Alexa app and just shut off plugs and lights at our finger tips.

They work great. Bought for my Christmas lights and have had no problem yet.

I use this on a lamp to show activity/be a deterrence if/when no one is home. The set up was easy. The only drawback is that you can only use the app on 1 cell phone (if you choose to go that route), but it works with all my Alexa gadgets/gizmos. I wanted to try something not expensive and simple to get started with converting things over.

Don't buy this product if you have a Spectrum router. I've tried installing it but had to call Spectrum to change the 5.0 Ghz to 2.4 Ghz to install the smart plugs. I had a difficult time achieving that and tried calling HBN customer service 4 times, it would ring then hang up on me. I spent all afternoon and half the evening trying to get these plugs to work. I'm done.

1 of the plugs doesn't work

After few days of use, now i/we can say for sure, this device has OVERSTATED it's rating . In our case we find it safe with 1210 Watts ( 11A ) or lesser Watts load device . We measured power consumption of a heater (purchased from Walmart), by using a digital meter (also purchased from Walmart), heater uses 1416 watts (at 117 V AC 60 Hz) at "High" mode . When we use that heater in received Smart Plug/Socket, it becomes hot !! but this Smart-plug suppose to support 15 A !! and safely support 15A . that means, it suppose to support 110 Volt X 15 Amps = 1650 watts loads , without failing . But connecting that heater/load makes this Smart-Plug .. hot , which i/we consider to be unsafe hot for a home for longer multi hours use , so we have put 1-STAR REVIEW for this item, for now, as it has overstated its actual ratings . But if seller starts to supply actual 15A rated smart-plug , then we will change this review . From Walmart we also purchased other Smart-Plugs .. also rated 15 A , but that/those do not become hot like this smart plug , when same heater/load is connected to it . As we said earlier, after few days of usage observations on different Smart-Plugs , under different room temperatures, etc , we are sure about this one . But its good for loads under (1210 watt) 11 Amps in home for continuous multi hours usage.
