This Gilmore Watering Nozzle is a great addition to the gardening shed. The lever at the elbow changes the water pressure with the pressure of your thumb. There are 6 spray choices so you can water a wide area of lawn, or a small section of flowers with just the right pressure. The neck of the nozzle swivels, so you aren't tangling up the hose when you change the direction of spray. Easy grip handle is shaped comfortably for the hand. This will make Spring watering so much easier.

I LOVE IT. THE GILMOURHEAVY DUTY THUMB CONTROL NOZZLE HAS SEVERAL THINGS GOING FOR IT. THE FIRST THING IS THE THUMB CONTROL. IF YOU HAVE ARTHRITIS IN YOUR HANDS AS I DO THE THUMB CONTROL IS IDEAL. I JUST CAN NOT SQUEEZE THE HANDLES ON THE NOZZLES OF MOST BRANDS OUT THERE WITHOUT PAIN. I'M ALWAYS ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THE THUMB CONTROL. THE NEXT THING IS HOW YOU ATTACH THE NOZZLE TO THE HOSE. THE PIECE AT THE END IS FREE MOVING (SWIVEL) SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO TURN THE WHOLE NOZZLE ONLY THE BASE TO ATTACH. SO SIMPLE! IT HAS ALL THE SETTINGS I NEED SO FOR ME THIS IS THE PERFECT NOZZLE.

I received this Gilmour Eatering Heavy Duty Thumb Control Nozzle and I have to say it is the nicest watering nozzle I have ever had! It really is heavy duty. It is sturdy and has a good weight. You can tell it is a quaility nozzle by the weight and feel. It also feels great in my hand and is very easy to grip and hold. Most watering nozzles make my hand hurt but this one doesn't! It is very comfortable to hold. Some of the features that I really like about this product are it has 8 watering patterns and it is very easy to adjust which pattern you want to use. I also like the swivel connection into the hose. I haven't had any leaking which is amazing for a nozzle. I also love that the product has a lifetime warranty through Gilmour. You know if a company stands behind their product with a lifetime warranty it is a good quality product. I think this watering nozzle will last a lifetime too! Would recommend to everyone!

Received this hose nozzle last week. It seems to be very well made. It is very easy to hold in my hand (woman with smaller hand) so is ergonomically comfortable. I can flip & adjust the thumb control easily. There is a swivel end where the hose attaches to the nozzle which should keep it from getting kinked up. There are 8 water patterns which is also changed with a click. This item is imported. My husband likes this one and plans to use it for washing cars :) Thanks Walmart!

This really is heavy duty!!! I really like the on and off switch at the top so there is not this trigger or button you constantly have to hold dow Some even have those flip things that keep trigger pulled for you but those can be tricky at times to get out of locked to position to them it off. I love it would highly recommend

I've bought several so all my garden hoses have the additional swivel trigger for all my different watering needs.

All hose nozzles should be made like this. The settings are easily changeable and a wide variety dependent of your needs, be it soft watering of your plants to jetting gunk off your tires. We've been through so many other types of nozzles in the past. Some require herculean strength, some break within weeks, some you just can't get the stream you desire. This is perfect, on, off, or anywhere in between and you don't have to hold it there, that's where it's set. Perfect. No more sore hands from trying to grip it for lengths of time, just set it and use it. The material seems very sturdy and is easy to hang on to. You won't regret this purchase.

Although this nozzle is bulky, it is not heavy. It fits in the hand so well and when you turn it to spray a different direction you do not end up fighting with the nozzle and the hose...no more sprayed face! The switch on the handle lets you turn it on/off with ease---this is important when you have arthritis. The dial to choose the spray to use is a bit hard to turn but then again arthritis is to blame, my daughter have no trouble at all...LOL

Nice selection of spray types. There is a hex head screw that goes up through the threaded end to hold the threaded end on and allow swivelling. That screw will loose and water will drip form between the parts. Tighten that screw (the hex is big) and it stops....for a little while. Keep the hex key handy.

The swivel is an excellent idea and it does reduce hose twists/kinks but the swivel is an unreliable design or poor manufacture. After two months of occasional use the swivel joint leaks profusely if nozzle handle/hose is not perfectly vertical. Swivel Tends to spray user. ( btw Hose connection does not leak). I was excited but ultimately very disappointed.
