HDWD FLR'N MORE MOP

O-Cedar Hardwood Floor 'N More Mop is made of millions of microscopic fibers that grab and hold dirt, dust and moisture. It cleans effectively without chemicals--just use water. That is the description from the sales promo for the O-Cedar Floor N Moore Mop. And it is. I love a clean house and I have animals so you know that fur, pet food pieces, water dishes all can be a bit much. This is my answer. I can sweep the floor, clean around the pet dishes and right into the laundry, not skipping a beat. It is a marvelous item, approx. 13 inch wide and 18 inches long, big enough for the large areas, small and swiveling for the smaller areas. This is one of those great buys, now I don't have to keep buying throw-a-way paper mop tops and throw away that money.

The O Cedar Microfiber Hardwood Floor ‘N More Damp/Dry All Surface Mop is great for cleaning my wood floors. I am used to using a self-wringing twist mop (with buckets of water with floor cleaner) and although it does a good job of cleaning the job is so tedious that I tend to put it off much too much! And when I do get around to it, even with the best wringing job the floors are left extremely wet and so take forever to dry. With this mop I can quickly and efficiently clean the floors with only the water dampened pad. (I vacuum 1st to remove the majority of dog hair, then take the microfiber cover off, soak under faucet, wring out and reattach) When it becomes soiled, I take off,rinse under running water, wring and reattach (which is quick and easy) and continue. I find this mop much easier to deal with for maintaining the wood floors. And it is machine washable! I would still use the twist mop and floor cleaner water for heavy duty cleaning every so often, but for weekly maintenance this mop is wonderful. I have probably passed by this mop in the stores without paying any attention before. You get so accustomed to doing things a certain way, even when its difficult- simply out of habit. I plan to pay more attention when picking up my usual items at Walmart from now on!

This is a good mop I have tried so far. The cleaning surface on mop is approx 15inch length & 8.5 inch wide. The handle is well made plastic & can be kept straight on floor with a place behind mop surface to snap it on for storing or can be kept upright in a corner space. It is a breeze to clean a larger area with this mop as the surface head is big & the handle moves very smoothly. I have used it couple of times in a week & I like it. The mop cloth is made of microfiber & I have used it on damp floor with water & all purpose cleaner as well. Firstly, my floor is not very dirty or sticky by any means so using this cleaned my floor very well & I could also see all the hair stick to it when i finished cleaning too. I washed the mop & it still stands in good shape. Only thing to be careful while using water for cleaning is as it is microfiber the water is not fully absorbed & I used fan for fast drying of the floor. I read online that the refill mops are available, I haven't needed it yet. Looks like the mop can be used for longer time as it holds up good after washing. I used on my vinyl floor, hardwood area & tile area. Everything cleaned excellent. I would recommend this as great value for price for anyone who has larger hardwood floor area or vinyl area as well for cleaning. It is also excellent for office floor use.

This is my go to cleaning tool right now! There are several things I love about this. First of all, I know that you CAN use it to clean on a dry floor or with water but I prefer to use it wet versus dry. The packaging says all you need is water; and they are correct. However, I have diluted my favorite cleaner with water and use a spray bottle to spray that on the floor to use it. There is a material in the pad that acts as scrubbing agent. (See picture.) I would compare that material to that of the scrubbers on a sponge. At first I wondered why put those on versus a fluffy pad or one with the same material throughout. (Like my steam cleaner.) Boy does that material make a difference. When used with my cleaning solution I can get any stickiness off of my floor. I absolutely love that. I also love that I can just throw the pad in the washer when I am finished to clean it. My final “love” about this is also somewhat of a “hate”. I love that it is big because it helps me clean my hardwood floors extremely quick. However, I don't like that it's so big because its hard to use in smaller areas like in the bathroom or in my washroom. I do like that it's easy to store, despite its size. You just fold the bottom half up and it will store in any small area such as between a counter and a refrigerator. Overall, I am loving this and would recommend it highly.

This is a great tool for cleaning hardwood floors. The mop head is thick and ample sized, and easy to clean and use. It is on a swivel head making it easy to manipulate around furniture and walls. I used it as a wet mop with clear water and no cleaning solutions. The dirt that the mop picked up with only water was amazing. All I had to do was rinse out the mop after I used it and it is ready for the next time. This is a great product to have handy to keep my hardwood floors clean.

The scrubbing strips provide a deeper clean when damp.” I was hesitant from just reading the description of this mop. Could my floors really get clean with just water? The answer is “Yes” it really does clean as well as it says. The millions of microscopic fibers used to grab and hold dirt, dust, hair and moisture, works like a dream. I love that it is Eco-friendly and machine washable. I hate using products that you just and throw away. One time use may be for convenient but it's not building a better world for our kids. Any time I can stay away from throw away products I will. You can even get refills offered in both microfiber and terry cloth versions once you have really warn them out. I feel better about a product that can be reused. I have found that I like to use it to wax my floors too. I bought another one to keep just for waxing the floors. If you are hesitant like I was in the beginning just try it and you will find that it's a great product.

I was really pleased with the way this mop cleaned and just the way it felt as I was using it. I only have two hallways and an entryway that are hardwood and they weren't particularly dirty, but I still really liked the way the mop just seemed to glide over the floors maneuvering along walls and in the corners very easily. As I said, my floors weren't all that dirty, but what little dust and dirt was there sure isn't there any more! I liked using it so much I decided to use it on my kitchen ceramic tile floor too. Again, the floor had been cleaned fairly recently, but after looking at the mop when I finished, I found out it wasn't as clean as I had thought! Well, it is now and the wonderful thing is, now I can just pop off the pad, throw it in the washer and have a perfectly clean mop all ready to go the next time. It is my understanding that it can also be used as a wet mop so the next time my kitchen floor needs cleaning, I'll try that and am sure it will do a great job. We have hardwood floors through out the entire house. Always looking for something to make the cleaning quick and even looking with out streaks. I like this mop can be used wet or dry. I tried it both ways but prefer wet better. Just a light sprinkle of water at a time or it will leave too much water behind on the floor. I had to re-wet a couple times to make it thru. We have area rugs to go around and the mop itself is very large and hard to fit into some areas for me. It does work very well vertical as well as horizontal which helps in the tighter areas and doing tight edges along molding etc. Anyone with out the area rugs will be happy with the very large cleaning area and will make the job fast and easy. The floor is not streaky at all, no mop marks which is great. After use i took the microfiber pad off and quickly hand washed it and laid it out to dry. It hand washed amazingly clean and also can be machine washed as needed. I can expect this pad to last a long time with good results. The idea of only using water with out any chemicals I also find better for us. I worry about our dogs when using chemicals on the floors. We have the steam floor cleaner but its such a project to get it out and have to keep always in reach of a plug. With this mop that will never be a problem. This mop was very light and easy to maneuver on hardwood floors. I used it dry to remove all dirt and lint and I dampened the pad with water to light mop and shine. The mop covers a large area at once and you can remove the pad to wash when you are done. This mop head also swivels so its easy to get under furniture and I think it would be great for many other cleaning areas such as walls, ceilings or other household chores.

I acquired this mop through the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program, and I am happy I did. I am using it on my laminate flooring, and it cleans great, wet or dry. It boasts a large cleaning surface...which I measured as approximately 9"x16". The microfiber offers an effective, but easy to clean, fleece mop head, which can easily be removed for cleaning. An important concern for me is that water does not "puddle" on my laminate flooring, and I can easily wring the mop head, to avoid "overwetting" my floor. and I can minimize using cleaners, since they tend to leave a film on laminate. The "wicking" ability will make my cleaning a lot easier. I think many of the same principles apply to hardwood floors, too. The removable mop head is also machine washable, but with the warming weather in my area, I prefer to rinse it, then hang it outside. This mop, with its' generous cleaning surface, really does make cleaning easier! The cleanable, reusable mop head is made very sturdily, but I think I want to order a spare, because it is well under 10 dollars, and I want backup, since I want to use the mop for many years ahead. But the mop is built to last. The deep-cleaning mop head covers a padded base, which makes cleaning even easier! The mop latches very flat, (under 3 inches) and is easy to store. It's lightweight, but sturdy. I don't have hardwood flooring, but I treat my laminate flooring with loving care. This mop is great because it cleans without using excessive amounts of water, and doesn't require cleaners which could cause build up. I use one part white distilled vinegar to nine parts water... couldn't get much simpler!
