I have naturally dry skin, scalp included, and this removes and reduces debris while keeping my color treated ends hydrated. A little bit goes a long ways so you don't need s whole lot of product. My favorite part is the lather. It gets really soapy and lathery and really works itself into my hair and scalp. It makes lots of bubbles and it smells really good. It is a scent that isn't to heavy but fragrant enough that I can smell it throughout the day. Once it is rinsed out it doesn't leave my hair tangly either, it is soft. Even without conditioner. As far as dandruff I think it helps. I have a lot less flakes in my scalp so it must be helping.
