Great for helping your hair appear less oily from the natural oils on your scalp. It does make you feel like you have dry hair while wet, but very soft when dry. My family has very oily hair and this has been a life changer. Unsure about how it is on colored hair as we're all natural over here, though I have noticed more dry ends. It has a great smell and lather to it. Would definitely recommend.

As a licensed cosmetologist this is a GREAT buy! I use this every time I wash my hair. First shampoo with just this, second shampoo with this and Moroccanoil shampoo, then Moroccanoil conditioner.

I don't have dandruff but do have itchy scalp and just began having oily hair for the first time since I was in my 20s Dr assures me both the itchiness and oiliness are from some of the meds. I tried several high priced shampoos they didn't work but this type of head and shoulders is worth every penny

this is the best shampoo i have ever used for controlling my scalp itchiness and dandruff. the active ingredient, selenium sulfide, really really works (even more than the zinc pyrithione in the original Head and Shoulders that I used to use, and definitely better than Nizoral). I will be stocking up on more of this shampoo very soon.

I bought this out of desperation !! My head itched all the time !! I had sores and scabs !! Flaking was awful!! I didn't wear dark colors !! It was very bad !! I thought I could go wrong. I had already tried everything else !! And within 3 weeks. My scalp was improving !! I bought this in dec !! Here it's is Jan !! 25 th. Im itch flake free no more sores !! And no scabs !! The Best medicated shampoo on the shelves without a prescription. I've used this since the 90's but they didn't have the oil control back then. This stuff gets rid of thick seborrheic dermatitis (cradle cap) type build up. Just try it! Itll get rid of it. You will toss all of your other shampoos out. Use it with a scalp massager if you can get one or just really massage tire trouble areas every day until it clears up then use it regularly like you would normally. I got this for my daughter who sat in a bed for a year after a car crash on life support, as her hair grew after shaving it al off, we noticed she needed regular washing not just batiste dry shampoo. the scalp gets a build up. gotta get it out. this product is wonderful! will definitely buy it every month. The scent is strange. I personally don't like the scent. I needed shampoo for a dry scalp %26 oily hair. Just washed my hair so cant tell whether it helps with oily hair or not. But i really don't like the scent!

The scent is awful and lingers so I'm always self conscious someone else can smell it too, but this shampoo claimed to help with itching dandruff, it made it worse! I itch my scalp all the time now and have even worse scaling. This bottle is about to go in the trash!
