Before this bzzcampaign, I've already been a fan of Head and Shoulders for years. I love the fact that I received the classic where I can tackle on my dandruff problem. I use it everyday and it keeps my scalp clean with little dandruff. I can see the difference, because once I stop using it, my dandruff come back. I have very oily scalp. H&S does work! I see that there are other scents, too, but I don't mind just sticking to the classic one because it's not very heavy for those who are sensitive to smell. I received a complimentary sample of Classic Clean Shampoo to review. I was a bit skeptical as I tended to use salon products in my hair. I am quite happy that I was able to try it...what a difference. I have noticed a drastic reduction in dandruff flaking. My scalp feels significantly less dry and itchy as well. I am very happy with the results and have recommended it to my friends and family!

I tried the head and Shoulders Classic Clean shampoo. The first thing I noticed when I opened the bottle was the scent. It's just as the label describes; classic clean. It has a nice neutral scent that can be used by a man or a woman. The scent is nice and clean and best of all, not overpowering after your shower. The shampoo started clearing the flakiness of my scalp up after about a week/week and a half. The itchiness was cleared up in just a few days! I really couldn't believe it! With the itchiness being gone right away, the redness follows because I'm not scratching my head all day. I would honestly recommend this product to anyone who suffers from a dry, itchy scalp. I've used head and shoulders before, but had never used the Classic Clean variety. At first I was skeptical because other types of Head and Shoulders I've tried have dried my hair out beyond belief, actually increasing my dandruff. To my relief, this formula didn't seem to be as harsh on my hair, in the couple days I've used it, as previous products of theirs have. (I'll see in a couple more weeks of use if this will continue to hold true.) All it took was a small amount of the shampoo to get a nice lather, even under a slightly hard water, and left my hair feeling very clean. A definite "classic clean". The only thing detracting from this particular product, in my personal opinion, is the smell. An odorless version would be perfect. I received my shampoo and conditioner from Head and shoulders the other day. Well so far the shampoo works great it had a tingle feeling while I was using it ( which is different). Being a guy it would be great to have the conditioner mixed in with the shampoo, because it would take less time. Also would be nice if it had a more of a man smell. I have been using Head & Shoulders Shampoo for a few weeks now. Overall, I feel like my hair is definitely getting clean! Unfortunately, it is still leaving my hair feeling a little rough. I see no signs of dandruff so it's doing it's job!! The only other thing I can say is the smell is a little manly. I like girly smells so this could be improved on for me. I really enjoyed it it smelled great. Made my hair feel super soft.Did not tangle my hair or make it feel dry. I've always used the 2 in 1 which is the combination of the shampoo and conditioner together in stead of seperatly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Before I used these products, I put them in my room for a week or so and when I opened it, the shampoo's consistency was like that of a liquid. I don't think my room was that hot, but when I put it in my bathroom, it changed to a more solid state although still a liquid-like consistency. Conditioner's consistency was heavier, even heavier compared to other brand's conditioner. On one hand, I felt like my hair was getting more volume, on the other hand, my hair felt like 5 pounds when washing. When you dry your hair though, it's fine. The smell was okay. It's gender-neutral and I can guess why. The smell reminds me of clean laundry, but some females don't want their hair to smell like clean laundry. Some do like this smell, but I like more refreshing type of smell....I don't know..like flowers or cucumbers? I also do not see any change in scalp-health, but it may be because I didn't use it for very long. So, if you are interested in this product, I think you should try to use it longer.
