very good
It's like it has a bit of a maple after taste. Not sure what they smoked the bacon with. However I've used this on everything from salads, twice baked potatoes, hamburgers and even a fettuccine alfredo. I buy this all the time and if you're on the fence. Come on it's bacon! you can add this to almost anything and make it good.

My go to for bacon bits
These bacon bits are already cooked and crumbled and taste great! Use wherever the recipe calls for bacon bits as well as in scrambled eggs and quiche.

Almost like real bacon
This works if you don't feel like frying up some bacon for your Caesar salad or potato topping. Its not a bunch of lard in your mouth like some other brands. I was surprised how good it was, not as good as frying up your own bacon but its close.

Gross
Opened this product to add to pizza toppings - they were sealed and not expired. Meat was gray in colour and tasted worse than cat food. We had to throw the entire package away.
