Health O Meter Progress Bar Scale

I have been using this scale for several months now. It accurately weighs and calculated BMI. I love that it keeps track of 4 people and tracks the progress of weight loss (or gain) and calculates how close you are to your goal. It's a great scale with a lot of features at a really great price.

I love that it tracks your targeted weight goal. The first thing I did when I brought it home was to compare my weight on my current scale with this new one. I KNEW that my home scale was off by -2 pounds. (It's non electronic - the kind you have manually calibrate by centering the "0" on the red line). So, right out of the box I knew this new one was accurate. Regardless of how often I weigh myself, I'm always sure to weight myself around the same time each MORNING. Otherwise, you may get false readings. I'm sure most of you already knew that, but if only one person didn't, then it was worth stating! This scale takes (and comes with) 2 AA batteries. It keeps track of weight goals for up to 4 different people. It takes less than one minute to Select a number that represents you (from 1 to 4), enter your height and the target weight you want to reach. (Optional: Repeat this for up to 4 people.) When you're done entering the stats, place the scale on a flat rigid surface like wood or tile (no carpets or rugs). hit the SELECT button and select your number. It will calculate your weight, confirm your target weight, show your progress and then finally display your BMI. The next time you select your number, it will automatically display what you weighed the LAST time you weighed in, it will indicate for you to step off (if you are already on it), it will calibrate, prompt you to STEP ON then automatically cycle through all of the results. It's pretty awesome!!! AND... I found that the weight it displayed for me was 100% accurate. I not only highly recommend it, I'm here today to purchase another one for my niece.

Using this scale has almost brought me to a melt down - it always weighed me 5-10lbs over what I actually am! I finally doubled checked my weight with a known and trusted scale. Returning this!

Cannot seem to get an accurate reading. It is on a hard surface. It consistently changes. Returning to the store.
