While the patch has “gooey” medication on it, it really does help with the pain. Since mine was in my back, I had to have help getting placed correctly, but any other place you could do it yourself. It seems to be a very effective product and I'm happy to have found it.
These patches are easy to use and stick without peeling. The menthol is not overpowering. They ease the pain in my neck.
This product worked well to ease minor aches and pains. It's a good size to fit well over knees and shoulders and stayed in place overnight.

These are good for temporary relief of pain, however, the adhesive could be better, with longer lasting pain relief.
