portion size by weight may be accurate but puctires on the box WERE a bit deceptive. i have a lower wattage microwave so cooked it for 8 minutes. Added butter to the potatoes and salted to taste. Although my personal taste would have been to add more garlic, i found the garlic / basalmic ratio very palatable. No knife was needed to cut the steak (a plus!), the beans were a tiny bit underdone, but still quite good. All in all very much enjoyed. I've already ordered more! When burgers at a fast food joint are over $5, this was a very nice to have a good tasting, quality meal i neither had to prepare or clean up after waiting for me in my freezer. THANK YOU!

This was pretty good. I like the Healthy Choice entrees. They're usually pretty well-made. This was no exception. It was a small portion, and it wasn't a former meal, but it was tasty and satisfying. It was better than other brands of frozen dinners. It wasn't chewy or salty. It had a nice flavor. It cooked well. I would eat it again.

I've purchased probably 8 of the Healthy Choice Balsamic Garlic Steak, over time. The steak has always been decent (relatively tender and the taste is good, especially because of the sauce that comes with it). They need to change the vegetables (snap beans?) as the texture has not been good (although they look good). The potatoes are passable for texture and the taste is decent. The meat is what carries this dish and you may want to consider preparing other veggies. The meat portion is 4 stars (you can always provide more meat, right), and the rest of the portions should be increased to make the overall value better. I will likely continue to buy these as long as they continue to have four- and five-star steak.

So yummy! I never ever buy this brand bc years ago I hated every single one. I bought this one on a whim bc it looked good. I'm not sure if it was bc I was starving, but it was surprisingly yummy. My sister even smelled it and said yum! what did you make!? It's a little sour/vinegary on the meat (ofc), but in a good way. Will get again. The potatoes were a little runny, but still tasted good.

the reason i wouldn't recommend this is not because it doesn't give you enough food,and that's bad because i eat like a bird,vand it wasn't enough for me ,i cannot imagine someone who has a large or normal appetite... Taste very good just need more of it

I've tried this only one time, and the steak was okay, I did like the sauce on the steak, there was a piece that was really chewy/fatty, the potatoes were good, but the green beans were too crunchy and felt undercooked even though I cooked it to the instructions. I like a lot of the other ones from this brand, but not this specific one

The meat and green beans both had a good texture. But there was a weird taste to the meat, could not identify it. Not recommended because of that. Also, the mashed potato was awful. Bland but somehow tasted bad. Worse than instant potatoes. If the meat had tasted better… but it didn't.

Don't waste your money do not purchase this meal. The green beans are raw. I had to cook them on the stove so they could be tender. The balsamic vinegar was too much. That's all I could taste and it had two pieces of meat a tiny blob of potatoes, but it was mostly green beans.

I wish I could show you what it looked like, but I ate it before I thought to review it. There was hardly any food and nothing like advertisement. The gravy and meat were mixed with the green beans. This meal advertised like a quality meal worth paying a little extra, it's not. A Banquet meal which is far less expensive taste better and gives more for your money. John and Scott meals, Stouffers, Marie Callander, Simply fresh etc better for your buck. I was highly disappointed. I am disabled, can't get to the kitchen and trying to find healthy, quality, tasty meals that doesn't cost so much as illness brings other expenses too.
