They are soft to put in my ear, easy with its case to carry them and easy to remove from my ear when finished. I have no doubt these would be effective when swimming too to keep the water out.

My kids used them to protect their ears during the loud 4th of July fireworks, and they noticeably reduced the noise while still allowing them to hear what was going on around them. We've also used them for swimming, and they did a great job keeping water out. Overall, they're comfortable, effective, and a good value. I probably won't reuse them, as the silicone collects dirt and doesn't look clean after 1 use.

I think these ear plugs are great and will reduce the amount of ear infections some people get from water or plugged up ears from water. They are a little hard but not to the point you can have them in. The storage container is nice and portable.

Getting a good fit was tricky. I put them in as recommended, but they kept popping out so I just fiddled with them until they stayed in. On the minus side, they did not keep out water. They actually loosened up when wet. My adult daughter tried them in the water too with the same results.

The instructions say not to insert the silicone into the ear canal, but I don't know how to get it to stay otherwise. They fell out before I even got in the water. I tried to just use them for sleeping but they fell out my ears then, too. Only positive for me is the carrying case.
