Heated Electric Blanket, Biddeford, Bedding, Twin, Grey

FYI I JUST purchased this blanket, so cannot comment on durabilty. Analog vs. Digital display: But, I was raised on electric blankets...I love them! Many have the new LCD display, which looks pretty, but they only light up the display for a minute or so. Well, I want to wake up and not have tp push mutiple buttons (while drowsy) just to see if it is on/setting! This "analog" blanket is perfect. the dial stays lit the entire tome is is on, and the spin function is fantadtoc to adjust heat when drowsy,versus search for up down buttons. (And the lights are a pretty blue, so it looks more high tech/modern.) Plug-ins: Wow wow wow. most queens/kings have 2 controllers, but one plug in on the blanket. This can be frustrating as you have to flip the blanket/watm it to make sure you have the controls on the correct side. THIS blanket not onlyhas 2 controls, but they are completely seperate units, and the blanket has 2 ports...one for each plug! Fantastic 2 people who might not run as cold as one another. I want an electric blanket, husband runs hot. I simply do not plug his in. Fabric: Ok, as mentioned, I LOVEelectric blankets. In the past I splurged on gorgeous velvety electric blanket. Expensive but SOOOO pretty and luxurious. In the end? I HATED it. Way too hot, even if off. If you have someone that runs hot? Even worse. I grew to hate that blanket, even though 4 times the cost of this one. This blanket is more traditional fleece. Yes, I am sure it will pill down the road. But it is SOOO much better on dual person temperature control. If you have a partner that wants there side off, this is not too hot. I definitely preferthis fleece fabric to velvet or velour. Heating: Ok, most of us have probably had a tepid eletric blanket, that is never warm enough. This one heats up beautifully though.....plenty toasty, even hot, at top setting, with lots of temperatures inbetween. Bottom like, A so far...I even had my mom buy one. I have bought electric blankets for decades...including snazzy ones (even a wifi/cordless one) that all disapointed. This little guy is affordable, simple to use, great on heat, great controls, and so far SOOOO much better than the "fancy" electric blankets I tried....I love it!

I’m glad it comes with two cords cause one of them doesn’t even work! I only bought this one because it had more heat levels than the other ones I had seen. I have two of these blankets. One of them is two years old and it doesn’t always get warm. Half the time only a portion of the blanket heats while other times it decides to work properly. This new blanket heats completely, which I’m thankful for. But only one of the cords work. My daughter was supposed to have the extra cord for the two year old blanket since hers quit working. So I would consider your options when thinking about buying this blanket. Search everyone online before making sure this is the one you want.

There priced good if they last through winter! I had one lasted 2 1/2 months! Only half of blanket heated up till finally it completely quit! So I returned and bought same one to see maybe if I can get it last till rest of winter! At least Walmart stands behind there products.....no hassle returns!

I have purchased 2 of these blankets now. One stopped working shortly after and the second one did not work from the minute I opened it. Definitely not a good quality.

This electric blanket has a major design flaw in the controller. After using for approx 1 or 2 months the controller will stop working completely. I have returned 3 blankets within 4 months after the controller stopped working. I have discovered that the sunbeam electric blanket works much better and around the same price they have a different controller design. The sunbeam electric blanket last much longer

Hate the controls which are finicky, difficult to use. a wheel sets the temp, but there is no rhyme or reason to go up or down on the heat. Bad choice on my part. I bought this in the store without benefit of reviews. Poor heat, poor everything. I hate it and I mean to replace it TODAY. HINT: when the number of negative reviews are 1/2 the number of positive reviews, DON'T BUY IT!!!!!

These blankets are awful. I purchased four Biddeford electrical blankets during the holidays from two different retailers. Over the course of two months, all four blankets stopped working. In turn, I purchased four Sunbeam electric blankets, and they worked great and are still working perfectly. I attempted to contact and the Biddeford company but I was unable to speak with anybody who spoke English. I will never buy any Biddeford product again. Terrible product, and awful customer service. 0/10 … F-

I purchase this blanket last year, The electrical cord shorted out and caught on fire. I did not purchase the warranty, I had to deal with the manufacturer directly to get my refund. That was very hard because it was over a year old but, I still had my receipt I reached by receive my refund. The amount paid for it minus taxes after speaking with them I am expecting a check with my taxes paid after being said, I do not recommend this blanket….

I did read the reviews and even though most were negative I figured they must have sold much more than the reviews showed and they might have been positive but did nor rate this product. However, I was wrong the blanket did not work from the beginning, so I am returning it I rolled the dice and crapped out. However, Walmart will return my money, so I am out no money here Thank you Walmart

After 2 weeks of using, I was woken up to this blanket on fire, burning my legs and my room full of smoke. Burned my sheets and the blanket melted!!! Company was called and they were not apologetic at all. Just filled out a questionnaire and called it a day. SMH!!!
