Hello everyone, I recently wrote a review for a straight key, as I like that traditional style for practicing CW. Yet I can see the advantages of a Lambic twin paddle keyer as well. So with little prior experience, I decided to start searching online for one, with my criteria being: easy to adjust, heavy enough to stay in place, and is backed by an established manufacturer of Morse code products. Fortunately I believe this Puteikeeg keyer meets that criteria. First impressions, once I took it out of the box were that it had weight to it and the overall fit and finish looked flawless. I couldn't find any manufacturing damage or cosmetic flaws. Adjustability is pretty straight forward and requires no tools, to date I haven't needed to make any adjustments. If you do decide to change the contact spacing, I suggest you grab a spark plug gap spacing tool, so you can get the two sides to match. A spare set of paddles are included, although the Allen wrench is not. The magnetic return is crisp, although I've found spring returns to be equally crisp. If you're new to CW (Like I am) you'll like the accuracy of this key when paired to your CW equipment, as it's so much faster and accurate to learn on versus a traditional key, not that I'll be giving up on my traditional key anytime soon. Looking online for keyers, especially if you have little to no experience with them can be confusing. All I can say is I'm satisfied with this product's quality, adjustability and price, and believe you would be as well.

My Putikeeg CW paddle has been GREAT. I used it to make my first CW contact, and it has been a joy to use. It is easy to adjust, and it has nice weight to minimize movement when it is being used. There are other versions available with slight differences, but I believe that the Putikeeg version to be the best looking and best made. I want to learn to use a straight key, so again I am looking to Putikeeg for my next key which is currently on order. I am looking forward adding to my collection, learning to use it, and putting it on the air.

For the money, this is a great dual paddle key. sure, it's pretty light so it may slip on your bench, but that makes it easy to carry. The only improvement might be to add some sort of traction feet to make it more stable.

This paddle is very nice for the money. High precision construction. Highly polished components. Adjustable deflection and magnetic return force. Magnetic feet for stability. Left/right switch. Extra set of clear paddles.

this cw key is heavy and very well made. attractive fit and finish . this is my second Putikeeg key . other one is a straight key. quality is very high.

excellent workmanship and weight. won't move during use. Ascetically pleasing to look at in the radio shack.

I really like this key. Sure, it's not a Begali, but for the money it's fantastic. Received in under 24 hours with free shipping. Twenty dollars less than Amazon for the exact same key, and unlike Amazon Walmart apparently ships the same day you order, instead of waiting a week before it's even shipped. I also bought a 4" square jewelers steel bench block for the key to sit on (it has magnetic feet) so it stays put.

Model MCT11: A simple, clean design-well constructed. I bought these paddles to learn squeeze keying. I set the contacts to 0.004” spacing (a paper's thickness), with moderate tension, and it keys reliably, with smooth action. The base is hefty but small, and will move about, depending on your keying technique. On a steel desktop, magnets in the base keep it rock solid. There are no springs; two toroidal magnets aligned to repel each other keep the paddles apart at rest. One magnet is inside an adjusting nut to set the desired force. Overall, Putikeeg MCT11 is a good value. Note: additional electronics must be had before you'll hear dits and dahs. A separate “electronic keyer” (often built-in a transmitter) or a USB adapter for your computer is required. Checkout VBand on the internet.
