Used this for a huge rug and it worked perfect. I've also used it a few times with other stuff and it has stuck so far.

This is some strong super sticking double sided tape. I used it to cover a board with 10 separate carpet step remnants for my mini daschund. Both my dogs have run, romped, played, raced, wrestled on this ramp and the tape has held the carpet pieces in perfect place. I see no reason it won't hold until the carpet is worn out, but I have a very big roll of it, so no worries.

Best tape ever! Great staying power. It is a little hard to cut, because of the stickiness of the glue but alcohol cleans the blades and no damage to the scissors. Hold my carpets down, so more sliding and turned up ends.

When put down properly it holds well.

Very difficult to separate the tape from the non-stick peel. Tape sticks ok to carpet

This double-sided is very difficult to use as it bunches up when exposed. As a result, unable to apply it in a straight line underneath the area rug. I would not recommend this tape. In addition, there is a warning about being exposed to chemicals that may or may not cause cancer.
