Had an issue with the DVD itself.
The movie was great. has been a long-time personal favorite. However, there was an issue with the DVD disc, itself. The DVD had some thick, sticky substance ALL OVER the back ,and had to be cleaned a LOT in order to even play. I thought I was buying a NEW DVD. {There was NOTHING to indicate it had been previously purchased or anything like that. However, even IF it had been a Previously Viewed DVD {and had been SOLD AS SUCH} there is NO excuse for it to be in a non-viewable condition when received. Five stars for the movie. ZERO STARS FOR THE DVD CONDITION.........

Underrated
I don't know why a lot of critics gave this movie bad reviews. This was just as awesome as the first Heavy Metal movie (different plot and characters).

Great toon for adults
If you saw the original get this one. For those who don't know the original Heavy Metal and this one are animated Si Fi films. Filled with very adult themes and blood letting. Both are good cult classics.
