These are a little bit more expensive than the standard cheap hot dogs you can normally get. I choose these because they don't have phosphates in them which is really bad for my kidneys and they are 100% beef because I'm allergic to pork. They are the only hot dogs I can eat. They taste like mini kielbasa sausages. VERY good.
The. Very. Best. How good are they? I roast mine in my air fryer. There's no puddle of grease in the drip tray after. They're high quality, so they're not drowned in spices. They're compatible with whatever toppings you like. Yes, they cost more. You're getting what you pay for. There's two people in my house. This package makes five meals for us, which actually makes them economical.
I love these hotdogs and the larger package. I actually eat more and thus by more hotdogs because there's 20 in a pack. Bonus: You sell hotdog buns in a 20 count pack, and that makes life easier. When you have matching counts per package for hotdogs and buns (or hamburgers and buns, etc), and the larger count packages sell at a lower price per count than the smaller packages, then the consumer has incentives to buy both of the larger count packages and there's less waste from buying 10 count buns when you can only buy 8 count hotdogs. You finish a cookout and have leftover buns that typically just get thrown out.
I have been using this brand for several years now. Never been disappointed. These have a great beefy flavor. I feel good about the quality of them as well. Definitely my hot dog of choice.
Walmart is the only place I could find a ten pack of these hot dogs the are a great all beef hot dogs best brand! They are a bit pricey but for me and my husband they are perfect
these are my favorite hot dogs. they have great taste and texture and they're not super greasy like some other brands. I know with Hebrew national I'm getting just the beef and not a bunch of other stuff and it's worth paying the extra for
they are expensive in my opinion..BUT they are the top shelf of the hotdog world...if you like a hotdog and have never had a hebrew...you are not living your best life....try it..you'll like it..JDH
Most food these days, contain some sort of sugar/ corn syrup/ dextrose, etc.. All of which, raise the blood sugar. Many foods, especially hotdogs and sausages, contain too much sodium, which is bad for the kidneys. Hebrew National Beef Franks, contain nothing that will effect Diabtes. However, they do contain a lot of sodium. So, I boil them for about 10 minutes, to remove a lot of the salt. They taste like hotdogs, without all the rubbish added in, and at less than .75 cents per frank, I call that a good deal.
These hot dogs that I ordered for pickup on February 20th had an expiration date of November 2025, so I had to throw them out. On March 6th, I decided to shop in the store and decided to get another Family pack of these Hebrew National Hot dogs, but the packages in the refrigerated section were also dated November 2025. Wow! Do you even check the dates or rotate the packages? Instead of saving money I lost money when I had to throw away the first family pack. Also, on my March 6th shopping trip, I spent more because I ended up buying two smaller packs which were more per pound, so I could get the non-expired dates.
I am very dissatisfied with how Walmart handled my issue regarding a defective item and a simple refund. Customer support confirmed via chat that a refund was approved, only for that decision to be reversed later the same day through an email, without a clear explanation. Being told one thing and then denied afterward is unacceptable. This experience showed a lack of consistency and accountability and has significantly reduced my trust in the company. It made me feel that Walmart does not value or respect its customers.
