Easy to put together and is well built. No flimsy metal. Easier for me to load and lock it up. After a week though it started to rust.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this carrier. It is well made with strong durable steel. The edges are well rounded and smooth. The instructions were clear enough. The assembly took me just over an hour, but then I am 84. The unit came with every thing need including the reflective tape for the back. The only con is the location of the locks that pin the position of the ramp. They are located so that it is close quarters between the carrier and the back of the vehicle. Too bad there isn't an option to use either front or back. Other wise, a great purchase. Thinking of buying another one.

Was really well built, thick steel. I was expecting to have to attach the gate to the carrier, but no it is preattached using a heavy duty hinge. Only have to add the three metal straps (all identical despite instructions indicating three different part letters) to the hitch bar. If you presort all like parts it goes together pretty easy despite little help from the instructions. They were good enough, but bad. One thing I was initially puzzled on was I was missing two bolts, but they were pre-installed on two of the other parts. Actually you need to remove one and move both bolts to one of them according to the instructions, but that was the worst of it.

Haven't used it yet but it was easy to put together except for the keeper that holds the ramp in the closed flat position don't line up.

Would have gave 5 start yet the part of the gate that lets down should have been flap where the wheels goes up on. As a pin that locks it closed should have been on both sides

Good quality, however bolts and nuts welded to frame have threads painted making it very difficult to thread together. Also the bracket that slides against the hitch to stop any wobbling does not work. The bracket design does not allow it to be tightened up without tipping at an angle, defeating the ability to brace against the carrier moving sideways. I plan on purchasing a different, correctly engineered bracket to stop the wobble. If I were to buy a carrier again I would look for one with a better designed anti-wobble bracket even if it was higher in cost.

Decent basket for the price point but the carton was full of tiny metal shavings that spilled all over my floor. The directions are HORRID. I found no video's online for this basket, the directions that came with the basket are terrible, the pictures are not helpful at all and many are not clear. The biggest issue I am having is how to install the screw that allows the basket ramp to stay locked in the upwards position. Also, it is not clear how and why you need to install the "hitch plate." Again, the picture is not clear nor helpful. It is frustrating ! Lastly, the reflectors and red reflective tape shown on the display model photo are not included. It came with two very small strips of red reflective tape, which is barely sticking to the metal. If I didn't need this urgently, I would return it.

Looking at the picture of the carrier. It shows a vehicle like mine. I own a jeep wrangler with a tire on the back of vehicle just like the picture shown. I thought it would fit my jeep but it did not fit. The connector to the trailer hitch was about a inch and half to short.

Why is getting a product from Walmart that needs to be assembled always have at least 1 glitch that prevents it from functioning completely as you expect it to? Lately, its a regular occurrence. On this item, the screw needed to hold the ramp down on the carrier couldnt be installed bc the hole it was supposed to go in was drilled out of alignment. So I replace it with something else or a bungee cord. Get better sellers, WM. The stuff they are pushing is garbage.

it will work but if your cart is on the heavy side like a hover round just keep looking. it is just not a well made item and even something as simple as the fit into the hitch is off this will wiggle all around even with that poorly fitting piece the give you
