Hefty 13.3-gal Touch Lid Trash Can, White with Decorative Texture (2 Pack)

Hefty is always a high quality product. Last forever, 13 gallon bags fit perfectly. I've had the same one for 10 years, still great, just wanted a fresh, updated one. Lid fits firmly on top of can, close the lid, latches into place, push downward, lid pops open. Love it, highly recommend.

I was looking to replace my narrow 13 gallon kitchen garbage can with a similar item, but it is hard to find one that opens on the narrow side as opposed to the wide side of the can. Everything I found was way too expensive, and were step-open types. I found this at Walmart, and while, it's a bit wider than I was looking for, being square instead of rectangular it still fits where it belongs. Would have given it five stars, but the lid does not snap onto the can. More or less sits there, but doesn't affect the push-button usage and doesn't fall off. I bought a black one as well, so now I have one for garbage and one for recycling.

I'm really happy with this Hefty kitchen trash can! The size is perfect for everyday use and fits standard 13-gallon bags with no problem. These trash cans with lids were replacements for white trash cans with cracks in them. The lid hides the smell of the trash. They are dark so doesn't look dirty as quickly and heavy duty will let them last longer as well. Just the right size for trash in one and recycling in the other.

I recently started to wear Poise pads and was looking for a good way to throw them out; They take up a lot of room in the bathroom wastebasket. Most of what I could find as a replacement wastebasket required special bags (reminds me of a PC printer where the printer is cheap but they get you for the ink). And some were even expensive, exclusive of the bags. I even looked at diaper pails since that was basically what I needed. This Hefty product is cheap and uses normal garbage bags from the supermarket. (And not necessarily Hefty -- I'm using Glad since that's what I had a box of.) Note that while your initial reaction putting in the first bag may be it doesn't fit, it does. It's tight, but that's what keeps the bag in place. Very satisfied with this and would recommend it

I didn't realize that the lid was a side opener. I thought it opened in the ground so that is my biggest complaint in every other way it's perfect. I wish the gray was darker but that's OK. I'm not sure I'll keep it. I live in a very tiny space and the lid opens on the wrong side making it a bit awkward it would be perfect for somebody in an apartment or a house that needed to slip it like in between a refrigerator and a counter or something like that.

I ordered 2 Hefty Kitchen Trash Cans, 13.3 gallon plastic touch top garbage bin with push button lid, black. I received 1 with lid which was perfect. One can was considerably larger and the push button lid did not fit. The lid in question would have worked if the correct size trash garbage bin had been sent.

I had some specific features in a trash can that I needed and this can seemed to check all the boxes. Unfortunately that was short lived. After owning it about 6 months the latch got stuck and broke when I tried to open it. I'm so disappointed in the quality of the closing mechanism. I now have a can with a weight on top keeping it closed so we don't have to smell the trash. My advice is stay away from this product unless you just need it to work for a short time.

I'm very dissatisfied with this item in particular and the order overall. First I had to cancel all the food items because though all the items were SNAP eligible my EBT WAS NOT USED. Thus my order, including the food items were charged to my bank account. I had to, with SPARKY'S Help, cancel each food item individually. As the order was exceptionally large, this was an unwelcome experience. Next as described in the included pictures the issue with the trash can. A great proportion of the people in these buildings are, as I am, disabled. you CANNOT Just leave items outside of the building, at another building I am not expecting the rest of my order to go smoothly either.

Nice Trash can, unfortunately lid is a piece of trash itself. When you push the lid down and it does pop twice, it immediately pops right back up. It is definitely a fault of the manufacturer.. I had it delivered, no damage to the can and the lid was inside the can. I have bought this can in the past no issues.
