I appreciate their convenience and ease of use. However, they do not perform well in the microwave. They are ideal for daily use on any occasion. They're absolutely fantastic for those days when the kids are home, and I can take a break from washing dishes!

These are some strong plates. I usually double them if I am eating Bbq or Lasagna or something else heavy. The only downfall is that they are styrofoam and can't be recycled. At least the plastic bag can be recycled. These plates are suitable for casual buffets. You may need three plates for heavier foods to ensure that it doesn't topple. Overall it is a quality product.

what happened why are your plates so thin lately I have to double them so they don't break just like the cheap plates?? so why am I buying hefty if there all gonna be then now unless I get them from Sam's club?? only gave 5 stars so this will be seen

i have been a hefty plate buyer for years but have noticed that the quality of the plates have really fell to the wayside and the price is way way to high for a foam plate ...its hard to buy foam plates that hold up the way you would expect ,this is not always been this way but in the last few or so yeas the plates are thinner and pressed formed sometimes crooked and thin on one side ,its not good ,doubling or tripling them jus to hold a sandwich ,.i will start looking for a alternative company other than hefty to buy from ,,for they have let us or dropped are sandwich you might say down .

My family and I have been buying these plates for many, many year and have been very disappointed with the quality of them the last few years. Seems like they're getting worse and worse. We will no longer be buying these.

I can't believe these plates!! First of all I was expecting a lot more from Hefty!! But I guess I was paying for the Name, the plates melted in the microwave that says it all!!! What more do you need them for?? Yes they held the food but I needed to heat it up!! I wouldn't spend my money on them! I hate that I did….

I have ALWAYS loved the HEFTY brand, however these plates DO NOT fullfill that brand name. I get the same brand at SAM's and they are very sturdy. Do not steer away from the brand, I would just add that purchasing them from SAMs CLUB will make you fall in love with your "fine china nights" :)
