I got these plates because my youngest demands a plate even if we're eating in the car. So I wanted the deepest, thickest plates I could find and trust my toddler in the car with. This was exactly what I wanted and I am so happy to have found a solution to those thin or shallow plates.
Nice square plates are have depth to prevent sauces and gravy from running over onto your clothes, table and anywhere else. The square shape also fits much better on TV tables. The design is not loud or overbearing.
I bought these because they had the deeper edge but it makes no difference when the plate itself isn't sturdy enough to hold anything more than the cheap round white paper plates can hold. My usual buy is great value 8” 100ct round and these hefty plates for around $2 more are much flimsier! Will stick with my usual as they are well made to hold anything!
The product is flimsy. i have to use two for any kind of stability when putting food in it and maybe even three if I'm not careful. i like the shape, size and depth.
The low quality was unexpected, Hefty usually is a reliable brand. But these plates were really flimsy, you had to stack two or three of them to keep stuff from leaking thru and they didn't hold their shape very well even then. I really liked the square shape, tho'.
they really are not that much deeper than standard plates. there's another brand the definitely makes deeper. if you just looking for the average snack plate sandwich plate/no side items, this is a good size and not very deep. like the square shape, but was not deep like it said and too small.
they were good, but an error on my behalf,l looked at the plates wrong,I wanted, round not square, company is coming, didn't wanna be doing a lot of washing dishes, otherwise order was ok,they are useful in small snacks, otherwise ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
These 8.6-inch paper plates are thin, so you'll need two or even three to hold a warm meal without bending. They work fine for chips, sandwiches, or other light foods, but I wouldn't recommend them for heavier meals. I won't be buying these again.
I got these plates to try and get something nicer than our regular paper plates and I am very disappointed to say the least. These are so thin and flimsy. There isn't a chance you could have anything on this without needing multiple plates to give it durability. I really think if you held this plate and simply sat a banana on it it would bend completely in half that's how flimsy it is. So disappointed and will never buy again. Only good thing is the fact I have to use 3 plates at a time they will be used fast and I can move back to my trusty Dixie brand.
So thin I will be concerned with spilling and dropping of food on this paper plate. I usually use Dixie but they have gone down hill also, not worth wasting my time or money on, so sad because if they kept the plates sturdy it would be worth a small price increase but like all products across the grocery store we have zero choice in paying for a quality product. Will not purchase again.
