Hefty Kitchen Trash Can, 12.8 Gallon Plastic Touch Top Garbage Bin with Push Button Lid, Black

Needed a locking trash can for my beagle. Works great, she can't get in to it.

When my hefty rectangular push tab opener broke, I looked high and low for a 10 gallon blsck substitute. Then I found this one which isnt rectangular..more of a large half moon. It has the push handlr to open it, that I like and doesnt take up as mush room but holds the same amount. The finish us textured..better than my last pail which had a shiny surfsce and shiwed every streak of dirt. I highly recommend this pail..great price too.

We have a small, but beautiful, kitchen featuring stone floors, granite counter tops, and black stainless steel appliances. This trash can is PERFECT! The unique shape gives us more room, it looks great, the lid snaps tightly shut, and it's easy to pop in plastic trash bags. And SUPER CHEAP! We bought 3 and store the other 2 as it's very hard to find this item. Get one ASAP!

Takes up less room than a normal trash can. It's flat sided design makes it easy to push up against the walland helps keep it out of the way. Pop top lid helps you get the lid open when hands are full. I got 2, one for trash and other for recycle. Works very well.

Got 2 of these to replace our trash can and recycling can. They match and fit nicely, baxk-to-back. The only complaint I have is that the latch holding it closed is kind of cheap. But it was inexpensive, so doesn't bother me much. Overall, just fine.

When my order arrived, the lid didn't stay closed it always popped back out when trying to close it. There's a video on YouTube to fix this problem with a blow dryer and it saved me time and energy from having to return and exchange. Now it works the way it is supposed to. I like it but it did arrive with scratches on the front of the bin.

Hefty copied the overall trash can design except for the lid. This one doesn't seal in odors like the one I bought from another company years ago. Smelly trash means changing the bag more often unless you generate 13 gallons of trash in under 48 hours. Seems intentional since kitchen trash is usually smelly and the lid has large gaps allowing air to escape even when it's closed. Hopefully a company that doesn't sell trash bags will make a great trash can.

Horrible!! Who knew a shape of a trash can would make a difference. I went from a rectangular shape to this. This one never keeps the bag up over the top edge. The bag is always falling inside. The shape doesn't seem to hold as much as last one. This lid is terrible! Hard to open and close/latch shut. Flimsy too. I am really disappointed in this trash can. I do not recommend it.

This is nothing like what I ordered and I ordered 2 not 1. I ordered outdoor trash cans and received an indoor kitchen can. I told the driver it was not right and he told me to call and left. After speaking to at least 5 people it was not resolved. I returned the item to the store, but was still charged for delivery. Very shoddy customer service, except Christian, who did his best to help me. I am one month out from open heart surgery. Sad! I will never go to WalMart again!!!
