These hefty 2 and a half gallon bags are awesome to have around. They're so big you could easily fit two regular size throw pillows in the and still have room. I don't have a specific use to say I have for them I just use them for everything. They don't rip and are very convenient to have if something big or something you have a lot of needs to be sealed and stored.

There are some things that a gallon bag isn't big enough for. These 2.5 gallon bags are the perfect size for a loaf of bread, a tray of brownies, a bunch of individually wrapped burgers or chicken breasts, or a few bags of shrimp. They really help me keep my chest freezer organized and I like that I can reuse them. When I take a loaf of bread out, I just leave the bag in the freezer for the next loaf of bread. They seal well every time. They can also be used for other things, such as giving a library book in a child's backpack protection from the rain or a leaky water bottle, and they hold a lot of art supplies (colored pencils, brushes etc). Short on baskets and needed quick solution for storage of Easter candy. I noticed the size of the bags on box. But these bags seemed huge.
