Hefty Ultra Strong 13 gallon Trash Bags, Tall Kitchen Trash Bags, White, Unscented, 80 Bags

When compared to the competition (I am looking at you, Glad) the Hefty tall kitchen trash bags are head and shoulders above the rest. I unfortunately bought the large economy size of the Glad bags and they make me sad. The two sides are stuck together as if glued and they are too small for the top of my 12 gallon trash can. It’s a fight every time I use one. The Hefty bags, on the other hand open easily and fit my trash can like they are supposed to.

I really love the fact that this company is being absolutely honest when they say it is unscented. This is a very strong yet flexible garbage bag. For me it being unscented is very important because I am chemically sensitive. When I say I'm chemically sensitive I mean that I react strongly to any kind of perfumes or artificial scents that most manufactures put on their products or in their products. When I am exposed to chemicals and artificial scents, I have many strong reactions that are negative such as really bad brain fog where I can't think I can't make decisions or I make poor decisions. Can cause me to react physically, where my nasal passages will close up and I have a hard time breathing. It actually can change my personality, where I can become very depressed, lethargic, confused. So that is why I highly recommend this product because it does not create any of those scenarios when I use it if you are chemically sensitive, this is a great product for you. I know that we are all different , so it may still affect others, but that has been my experience with this garbage bag.

These bags are strong enough to hold whatever we put in the kitchen garbage can. They've never ripped or punctured, even when we've thrown away chicken bones or other sharp objects. I find them so reliable, I can keep the roll of unused bags inside the can so I can quickly replace the full bag and I've never had one leak onto the new roll or dirty the bottom of the can.

Love these, you can't go wrong with hefty. I love the scent free, can't stand that fabuloso stuff. It has been harder and harder to find non scented, so im considering buying these in bulk and stocking up! seriously, we use so many of these. they have never failed us. no leaks, no rips, no tears, no breaking apart. they are strong!

I normally use the store brand but these were on sale and cost less than the store brand so I thought I would try them. I love them. They are superior to the store brand and I may not go back to the store brand. They have had no leaks at all. They hold a lot and I like the stretch feature.

Not strong at all. Every bag I've used from this box has ripped. Either from things I've put in the bag, from trying to take it off the trash can rim or while putting it on. It seems to be the most prone to ripping right around the top under the drawstrings.

Sadly these bags are too short %26 fall down into can . Contacted Hefty. Unfortunately had thrown away the box as it didn't fit my storage space. Did keep top of box. Sent pic of top with the 2 rolls of bags along with my Walmart receipt. Also a pic of bag falling into can. Hefty would not reimburse because I did not have the bar code. Sooooo if you buy be sure to keep the box. As for me I'll never purchase another Hefty product again.

These are one of the weakestest bags I have ever purchased on 2 continents. The first one out of the box was ripped. The second ripped while lining my bin. The third, fourth, fifith and sixth, ripped while trying to tie them to take them out. My bin is helf the size of a kitchen bin, because I likr to have plenty of room to tie them off. So the bags are never overstuffed. The bags are just useless. I thought it was a bargain, but with Walmart, I should have known better. :(

My husband accidentally bought another brand of 13 gallon kitchen bags that were scented. I view all these scented items as a form of indoor air pollution not to mention they trigger my asthma. So we gave them away. I ordered these as a replacement. They say scent free. I opened them to use upon arrival and they have a scent! I couldn't believe it. I thought perhaps they were stored near scented items, but sure enough, my nose began to run and they indeed had a faint, fake citrus type odor. I looked at the box and there is an Arm and Hammer logo claiming "continuous odor control." What is the point of this? It is a joke, honestly, because there is no way this is going to control odor given the bag is open to the air even if the can has a lid. AND if it did, it would mean some chemical aspect or reaction between the bag and the garbage. In the meantime, it is NOT truth in advertising. Rest assured that your Scent Free Hefty Bags with Arm %26 Hammer odor control have a scent, and an irritating one at that. If you are at all sensitive to this issue, even if you are not and just don't want your family or pets to have to inhale whatever goes into these types of products, DO NOT BUY. I am going to take them back I have decided. If you want odor control the solution is super simple: take out the garbage.

Truly lovely when long trusted brand decides to change a product that results in the opposite - total opposite of “unscented”. Now these bags smell like a chemical: extremely strong and causes nasal irritation. The aroma is similar to a citronella candle. Very pungent; I would hate to think what happens to things stored in these bags now - clothing, blankets or what have you. The switch? Look for the “Continuous Odor Control” on the box. Needless to say, switching brands.
