THE PROS: this product is great, you can switch from SD to HD, you can record, it has audio too. app has a intercom button but i dont really use it. you can see clear in the night and day. CONS: the notification on the HiemVision app doesnt work. other then that is a pretty good camera set, would recommend

Great picture quality, even on recordings. Love that I can see my security cameras on my phone while away from the house. I currently have the box plugged into the living room tv and am able to use the tv with setting up my system and to view cameras and recordings. Must buy the memory card separate in order to record. Overall, it's the best system I've used so far. Very pleased with my HeimVision Security Camera system.

Bought this thru Walmart.com this weekend also put in a new hard drive.Camera's up and running no problem.Problem is trying to format hard drive. Set up screen says no HDD's found? Bought it to record . Any ideas.

It was so confusing to get it to work. I had 3 different people trying to get it to work, but once they were able to get all 4 cameras to work, I ordered another set without the hard drive. A friend recommended these cameras but he said we need speaker wire so we can expand our are areas where we want security.

It seems like a really good deal however they neglect to tell you it needs a hard drive. The part has to be installed in the interior of the unit so you have to get a screwdriver and take it apart and put in the hard drive. A little bit of a pain in the neck. This is sold as a recorder however you cannot record anyting on it without the hard drive. You only get live feed. Nowhere on the box or instructions doesn't say whether it has a hard drive or not so the only way you can tell is to attempt to record or take the unit apart and see if there is a hard drive. The hard drive was an additional $69 and I had to also get a extender to get better reception that was an additional $20 so I feel I was very much misled good luck.
