I don't usually purchase Heinz products but I wanted pickles and this was the only name brand offered online by Walmart, so I bought them. Was I surprised when I tasted them! They were delicious! Usually, pickles need a bit of “doctoring” to taste good. But not these. I fully admit I can be found eating them right out of the jar, and I save the brine and use it in cooking (and maybe sneak a sip or two...shhh!).
These are very full flavored Pickles. I would say Bold but not hot spicy in flavor Not for the more people that want a regular pickle taste. I do like thes in the frig. when I want a very good flavor bold pickle. I have at least 3 kinds of pickles in my frig. at all times. Excellent!
We love these pickles because they are crunchy, crisp not mushy and taste like real dill should taste. They also dont have many ingredients which makes them even better since most pickles on the market always have a lot of unnecessary ingredients and that takes away the great flavor of the pickle.
This item is staple for me. I make "the world's best" cheeseburgers and/or veggie burgers right here in my home kitchen. I apply a liberal layer of these pickle chips on my lower of a toasted sesame seed bum. right on top of he thousand island dressing as I'm building my burger. It's a MUST have and always a reliable product.
My wife was having trouble finding Hamburger Dills that taste right. Some were even super soft and weird tasting. She just couldn't find Heinz. They used to be on the shelf everywhere, but not now, for some reason. Heinz seems to have the recipe down cold for a delicious burger dill pickle. They are crisp, with the right texture. Tum!
These are the holy grail of pickles for those of us on reduced -sodium diets who love pickles. They're tasty, although I enhanced my jar with a bit if garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Now I can enjoy pickles without quickly going into sodium overload.
I had high hopes for these. I like Heinz products and there were so many good reviews. These are awful. They have some weird funkiness to them that is just not good. Mad I bought a 3 pack.
We absolutely love these pickles and appreciate the fact that we can order them from Walmart even though we can not find them in store or even in our area...
I love these pickles but can not purchase them locally...have not found on any other site. So happy to find them here. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My grandson said they were one of the best pickled chips he ever ate, which is quite a compliment since he love pickles. I have tried other brands but no one has ever commented on them. I think I will stick with Heinz.
