Heinz Refrigerator Christmas Pickling Kit, 3oz

I bought this last week and we gave it a try. I love pickles so I was excited to try a simpler way of making them. It worked really well! It was easy to make. We started with the spicy seasoning and I thought they turned out great. I would say they have more of a cucumber taste then typical pickles but I like cucumbers too so I didn't mind. Looking forward to trying the other flavor seasonings!

I brought this pickling kit home to my son who's obsessed with pickles. It came in a BPA free reusable pail, three different seasoning packets and an insert with easy to follow recipes. We made the spicy batch first and they turned out great but I think I'd use a little less vinegar the next time around. This was so much fun and we'll definitely be creating some alternative combinations of our own in the future.

I got this as a gift and it was fun kit to use! I mixed the garlic and spicy pickle packets which turned out quite well, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the sweet pickles when I get to them. I even wish I had some of the spicy seasoning left over to try and make a sweet/spicy pickle. I used cucumbers, but I can see plenty of other vegetables (especially beets and green beans) working really well with this kit and producing some tasty pickles, too!

This was the perfect Christmas gift for our daughters and their families. They've all tried the sweet pickle recipe and loved the results! So easy to do and the container fits right in the refrigerator. Only wish we could buy more seasoning packets to make more.

Bought it for an Xmas gift. it was much smaller than I anticipated. I hope my pickle lover loves it. She does like Heinz Pickles.

The person it was for, really likes dill stuff, made her happy.
