I received a healthy plant with 3 buds its on the 3 stems now they are blooming and beautiful. But this plant seems to pricy for the small size I received. I hope its a fast growing plant to balance the price i paid
For about 12 years I had a Lady Banks on our patio in El Cerrito. By the time we moved to NC in 2022 she had canes up to 40' entwined in the cotoneaster grove. We hated to leave her, but I got one from you finally last fall. There was very little growth until this summer, but once we put up a trellis a month ago she has gone wild. We have yet to see any blooms, but I've seen lots of yellow and white Lady Banks around town that are thriving. Lady Banks is a great choice even for a space that gets mostly afternoon sun. I don't think I even need to feed or spray for diseases and insects. Bunnies have nibbled here and there, but that's it. Rosa rugosa is a great companion for Lady Banks.
I cannot wait to see the blooms on this rose. It came last week, and I've had to wait for the rain to stop before I can plant. This time of the year, Zone 9 has late afternoon rainstorms almost daily, and tropical storms and hurricanes in between. I have it under my grow lights until I plant them. I hope it gives them a better chance to grow before planting.
This rose was the first one that ever caught my eye and introduced me to Heirloom Roses. I planted her a few months ago and she's been consistently producing vibrant and healthy blooms. She's done well in my zone 8b. Looking forward to seeing how big she gets throughout the years!
After being unsuccessful with several attempts with grafted roses from other companies,I bought State of Grace with five other roses from HR. I planted it in a container two months ago and even as a baby rose it has produced 9-10 blooms and is a stunner in all lighting. Four of the HR roses have bloomed already
I almost replaced her this spring but I am glad I didn't get around to it. It takes a good year and a half or longer for her to develop larger blooms that are vase worthy. She also is now throwing some single blooms better for vases. She is a pretty constant bloomer and has been from the start, it just took a while to not have tiny blooms. She is now worthy of her spot next to safari which she complements well in size and color
Planted my Ballerina late last summer in the NY North Country. Loved the potted roots, new growth immediately. Lots of new growth in the spring and our very hot and humid summer. Lots of flowers and very nice light scent. Very pleased with the rose, can't wait to see what next year brings.
I am pleased with this roses growth and how often it blooms. As far as it being very fragrant I cannot find any fragrance at all, nor can anyone else. I planted this rose in spring of 2023 and am hoping that next year it may have developed scent. I am happy with the rose and how healthy it is. No fungal disease in it's second year after a horribly humid summer with several heat waves. It just kept going. I gave it four stars due to no scent. I will change it to 5 if I find scent next spring. The bush is approx. 4 feet with a very nice shape.
I love Princess Buttercup, from The Princess Bride! And I love the exquisite fragrance of the cream colored blooms too. But. The black spot is hideous. I can't stop it, no matter what I do, and the poor plant looks so pathetic and only manages a couple dozen blooms in a year. Heavy sigh. I will have to replace her. I am in coastal Northern California. Zone 9a/10b.
Received a stick with no foliage. Wouldn't EVER order from Heirloom roses again. What a waste of money.
