Great Soundtrack
I love Danny Elfman's work, ever since Batman. I was a little mad that they didn't use the guy from the first movie but I knew that Elfman wouldn't dissapoint. It doesn't have the darkness of the first one but it is a great listen. I can't get it out of my CD player.

Fantastic Soundtrack
Though many music fanatics complain that soundtracks are little more than classical music put to a movie, I disagree, particularly with this soundtrack to Hellboy 2. The music was composed and directed by Danny Elfman, the same genius composer who gave us such brilliant soundtracks as Spiderman and Flubber, both unique and wonderful to listen to. This CD follows the action of the movie, from orchestral crecendoes to deep, ringing bass guitar and sorrowful, heart-aching piano sonata-like pieces. All in all, this is a very easy, very entertaining CD to listen to, so give it a try, even if you aren't much of a soundtrack fanatic.
