Hellmann's Light Mayonnaise, Sandwich Spread Condiments, 30 fl oz Jar

You might think this doesn't taste as good as full fat Hellmann's mayo, and you're right. What did you expect? But it still tastes like Hellmann's, and it shaves off a few calories, which is great if you often slather a lot of mayo on your sandwiches.

Delicious mayonnaise. The jars made a plastic so it's safe with kids. I like to turn it into many different sauces or just buy itself. If you add a little teaspoon or tablespoon of mayonnaise to some vegetables, you can usually get any man or a kid to eat it. Tastes great.

this is my favorite mayonnaise when I'm dieting for the calories. but I think it's too expensive that's the only thing I wish it would do is decrease the cost some

There are only 3 grocery items to which I will be brand loyal for life and one is this mayo! Taste and calories are perfection. I have tried them all and desperately paid twice as much for this one at another store. So the price is right at Walmart too.

Helmans is the best mayo. Not greasy or oily, like many others are. The lite version is just as good. Have been using ever since it first came out.

What I disliked about this item was, if you are not going to use it all up within a decent amount of time, the texture seems thinner ( for lack of better words). I thought we could finish it up with summer and gatherings and making small mayo based dishes, but I just couldn't get through it all. We just noticed closer to the bottom of the jar, it seemed to be thinner texter is all. I was careful and used old fashion mayo rules when using it. Otherwise, if you are not using it for 2 months, its great. and it doesn't expire, buy it. We jsut buy smaller jars now.

Helmann's is the best! But, the light mayo has a different and slightly less pleasant taste than regular, full f, mayo. But, it has 1/2 the calories! And is still good and WAY better than all other low fat alternatives! I've tried them! When taste is really important, like mock hollandaise, or some dips, I mix half this and half regular mayo. Then- no taste difference can be made.

I love mayonaisse especially the light version. No complaints about taste, but the price is high. It's very tasty, great on sandwiches or making potato or macaroni salads. i even like to use it as a dip for chicken fingers.

I wanted to like it. I need to like it. But...it's just not the same and everything tastes slightly different. I think if I made something new with it, that I had never tasted with regular Hellmann's, it would probably work. The thing is, once you've had the real thing, imitations just don't cut it anymore.

You just have to do what you have to do to be able to use real Hellman's mayo instead of the Light version. This was terrible. Take a long walk, cut back on a couple of beers or sweets or something--I just don't see how this could be a trade-out for use on a sandwich or other recipe.
