These packets cannot be opened without either scissors or a sharp knife. They cannot be torn open. I tried using a table knife, to no avail. I engaged a younger person, who tried the same, on two different packets, also futile.

I don’t know what happened to you Helmanns real mayonnaise but the consistency is like thin and comes out the container like watered down mayonnaise. I am throwing away this bottle and will now my Hellmanns products any longer. Must be cost cutting. You just lost a life long customer.
