it's a great item and it's fluoride free but it's made by the same companies that make poisonous fluoride toothpaste I just don't understand these products these days it's like they're all out to try to poison us

I really like this toothpaste. I've tried a lot of natural brands over the years, and this one is one I keep coming back to. It leaves my teeth feeling clean and smooth without that chalky film or harsh burn you get with some whitening pastes. The peppermint flavor is natural and refreshing, not overly sweet or artificial. I also use this brand's deodorant, and I trust them because their products don't have all the extra dyes, SLS, or chemicals that bother my skin or make my teeth feel sensitive. Even though it's fluoride free, it still makes my mouth feel fresh and healthy, and it hasn't caused any enamel sensitivity at all. The texture spreads easily on the toothbrush, foams just enough, and rinses clean. If you're looking for something that feels simple, gentle, and actually works, this one does the job really well. Sharing in case someone else has been hunting for a toothpaste that cleans well without making their teeth hurt.

Ordered this as part of a $35 order for my little Sister. She likes it. I personally use the hello Charcoal one. Charcoal was recommended by a Natural Dentist a few years ago. I just wish it had a normal shaped tube. I cut it open when it gets empty, because it does not squeeze good when it gets really low.

Hello is my toothpaste of choice for over 7 years now, I'm not going back to the old overly chemical saturated brands like colgate, crest etc, you can literally taste and feel the difference in comparison to one another. The minty flavor and fluoride free component definitely makes it a reason I prefer it over the usuals big name brands, I would definitely advise any one to also get the charcoal based one as well.

I currently use the anti-plaque and whitening formula. Not only is it made by a company that I am familiar with and has been around for many years, I highly recommend this toothpaste for several reasons. It's minty, has whitened my teeth and it leaves my teeth smooth and shiny. Love it!

Recently I've been experiencing problems with my toothpaste. I have celiac disease and allergies due to antibiotics and food allergies and ingredients. I've noticed I have a terrible dry, choking cough after brushing my teeth and I think it is due to the fluoride or other ingredients in the toothpaste I have been using. I decided to give this toothpaste a try and I am extremely pleased with it. The coughing is gone, the toothpaste is clean and refreshing. I'll be using this toothpaste forever!

One major downside for me with Hello toothpaste is the taste and how it handles breath freshness. While the brand offers flavors like natural peppermint, spearmint, or even fruity kids' options, I found the mint to be oddly muted and underwhelming—not the bold, invigorating kick you get from classic toothpastes. There's often a subtle tea tree oil undertone (in many varieties) that comes across as slightly medicinal or off-putting, leaving a weird aftertaste rather than a clean, pleasant one. As for keeping breath fresh, it falls short; the freshness fades quickly after brushing, and by mid-morning or after a coffee, my mouth didn't feel as refreshed or odor-free as with more traditional brands. If you're sensitive to flavors or need long-lasting breath protection, this just didn't deliver for me—there are better options out there that taste great and actually keep things fresh longer.

I used this toothpaste for a week and unfortunately it just isn't for me. It doesn't get surface stains off at all, my teeth started to have a yellow tint to them and my breath only felt fresh for an hour then my entire mouth felt grimy and my breath started to stink. I have a permanent retainer and it started to feel gritty around it.

My teeth did not feel clean after brushing with this toothpaste. I could still feel that nasty tartar that builds up throughout the day on the edges of the teeth near the gums after brushing. I also saw some discoloration on my teeth after that I just stopped using this and switched to a different toothpaste. The minty flavor is ok I guess that is the only positive.
