this was small and easy to use for my craft project.

Use these a lot.

This item was not easy to use. When I tried to grip with them, they kept sliding from side to side causing the item to constantly fall. These are not good for gripping. When the nylon cover is removed, the item is marred. So these pliers were not a good fit for me.

This product is defective cannot use it 👎

I should have read the reviews. These suck because they don't close all the way

I assumed the pliers would fully close after taking them out the package they in fact do not. They are just wide opened maybe they are perfect for a much wider gauge but definitely not for anything between 12 - 20 gauge , I will be returning because with the lack of them closing it will not hold the wire I need to loop , other than that they seem to be well built easy on the hands , the grip doesn't seem to put much stress on the hands , I bought these as a smaller more convenient tool to carry with my traveling pieces , if the pliers would close to offer a tighter hold they would of been perfect for the size of gauge wire I am using .

My girlfriend's little sister bought these pliers (on her own, with her birthday money) to make jewelry, and was very upset to find that they don't work, as they don't close completely. The pictures show they don't close completely, I even moved the handle pieces down thinking it would help. Picture %233 is my pliers that she's been borrowing, showing them closing completely. And picture %234 is what I've managed to do with these pliers. Which isn't a whole lot.
