Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Nintendo Switch Game

Originally bought this game for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas and ended up needing to get a second one because to my surprise my 10 year old son also thoroughly enjoyed it as well. I have also became obsessed with this game, it's a lot of fun for any age. Love the scenery and have even found groups on social media

My teenaged daughters received this as Christmas as a gift. My 16 year old who is into video games absolutely loves this game and plays it every single day for almost a month. I even gave it a whirl! It's pretty easy to get into. I thought it would be more like the ACNH game, but other than it being on an island, collecting items, some crafting, and fishing, it's really not! It's more of a quest game and reminds me of BOTW especially with the use of balloons as a paraglider. The graphics are great, it's pretty cute! Lots of reading though! There's also a reoccurring sound which sounds like someone blowing bubbles into a drink. (I honestly find it irritating.) My only major issue is that the game sometimes 'glitches' out on my daughter as she's playing and I believe she has to restart the Switch. After that, she's back to playing. We don't know what the cause is. We never had an issue with any other game before. My daughter is pretty far into the game and we wouldn't want to exchange it now.

Warning! Do not get this game, unless you want to be OBSSESED with it! :D First, why I chose the game from Walmart. I was looking for my first-ever video game to use on the console I borrowed from my roommate. I wanted to get Hello Kitty Island Adventure for a cozy, low-stress, non-violent game to focus on while I am at home or when I am at work. I checked the main retailers I shopped with consistently, for 1) In stock of the item I was looking for 2) the best price among all, and 3) the one that had the best shipping option for the least amount of money or restrictions. I love the things I get from Walmart overall, so I was going to order for pick up from my trusted store, but I then had the promotion trial of Walmart and got the best deal on shipping and super quick delivery. These deals helped me to have a product I wanted without having to go far or pay lots of money for shipping. That's why I chose Walmart for my first gaming experience. Now, about the game itself, the game is wonderful, came beautifully well-maintained, with no scratches, and no damage, just brand new packaging and game card, and the game works phenomenally. I play it on a Nintendo Switch (1 or standard, I think it's called), and I don't have anything to compare it with except the games on CDs or diskettes I used to play as a kid, so the graphics, sounds, movements, lighting, character, and story are so cute, beautifully drawn, and cozy. Trust me, you will spend hours playing without noticing it. I am now recommending the game to everyone :D It is cute, it has fresh scenarios, and fun activities to do with the characters or on your own. Personally, I use it as a solo player, not with other people, and love that it can be played self-paced, so I don't feel rushed and just do what I want in the game. The next one I am considering is Stardew Valley and, of course, Animal Crossing, but since this Hello Kitty is my first game, I want to spend a good amount of time with it before starting another one, and even then, when time comes, I think I will get the Hello Kitty deluxe version or try to see by that time if I can have more of the game itself. There is so much to do in this game. Laid back playing style, cute scenes with the characters %26 you also can grow your island with a community of people that you don't have to force to leave just to make space for another visitor!

My daughter who is 12, said she loved this game. She said you could have your own house and you get to buy furniture and the adventures and world is fun!

Absolutely love it!!! %26 so does my daughter I'm glad we can bond over something I grew up with 💕✨ .. side note there is a slight lag while running but it doesn't take away from the game at all . It's very much enjoyable!

Amazing huge open world Hello kitty game I can compare it to legends of zelda tears of kingdom or gta series but Hello kitty style

Great sale price, I had to buy online and pickup in store but that was ok. Only store that had product left was 20 miles away but it was worth the price.

Not as good as animal crossing but still a very cozy game. recommended for sanrio fans.

Don't get what I ordered. I got some lousy socks and then took two hours to finally get someone who would not make me drive to get a refund .
