I started using this product as a result of finding out that I was very anemic by one of my doctors. (I had restleless legs, problems sleeping, no energy, tired all the time, craved chewing ice all the time...) I was given a prescription for some iron which was going to be rather expensive, so I did some searching and actually found this product at the local Market Street grocery store. I Since then, I found Vitaminlife.com where the price is cheaper. Two weeks after taking this product my blood counts were normal. (I can only speak for myself. I'm sure each individual is going to be different depending on the circumstances. Love this product!! 1. It completely changed my energy level - I know longer fight to stay awake in meetings (even when they are boring). 2. I seemed to have more stamina during my running and my oxygen seems to be improved. 3. I'm excited to see if it changes my iron level when giving blood - I was deferred last time. 4. It does make your stool dark but DOES not constipate you!!!!!

I started taking it and after just the first week my cravings for chewing ice and my restless legs stopped nagging at me and I haven't had any side effects other than a mild hardened stool which was easily controlled by drinking more water and fluids and watching better what I eat. I highly recomend this product not just for my issues but it also has given be alot of energy as well.

I've been taking this supplement for quite a few years. This form of iron has no side effects. I also love that it contains a lot of B vitamins so I don't have to take them separately. Even better is that instead of folic acid it has methyl-folate, which is best for people with MTHFR mutations.

My husband has taken this for several years and has noticed a great improvement in his energy level. There have been times when he hasn't taken it and he feels tired so it is definitely a supplement he takes daily.

This seems easier to take than pure iron supplements.Easy on the stomach and digestive system.My wife says it works fine!

This was my favorite iron supplement for years, despite the price and the enormous size of the tablets. They improved my iron levels and did not upset my stomach. But just recently, things have changed. The last couple of times I bought them, there have been a few tablets in each package (they're individually packed in child-proof blister sealed strips) that were not fully formed. They're usually kind of convex, but some of them were flat or concave on one side, and only about 1/2 to 2/3 of the size they normally are. I assume I was not getting a full dose from a partial tablet. I am unlikely to buy them again.
