I've always purchased knives from major warehouse stores and would try and sharpen them just for them to go dull within a few days. This thing is amazing. Really nice quality and weight. Cuts through potatoes and thick cuts of meat not problem. Highly recommend
It's quite sharp!! And is easy to use. Also quite nice looking!
I had this knife 12 years when it finally gave out (broken handle). I was thrilled to find it available online. I purchased it and a Twin sharpener to keep the blade sharp and the angle right and I couldn't be happier. This is my go to knife for everything!!
Henckels makes quality knives. I love mine. It was forged in Spain and has a very sharp edge. I hone it after each use and sharpen about once a week. Highly recommended. I also own a Henckels paring knife.
I have had this knife for many years and it's been great. The handle is cracked and I cannot find anyway to replace it. I believe its plastic or something similar. Any suggestions would be great.
This was a replacement for a stamped knife that served us for 20+ years. Good in the hand and excellently made.
This is a fantastic knife that holds an edge and slices extraordinary well. I love the weight and how balanced it feels, which is important because I use it as a prep knife for work. My one gripe with this knife is that the transition from the flat of the blade to the top has a very sharp angle, which means that the area of my hand I guide the knife with can become irritated after continuous use. I've adjusted my technique so it's not as much of an issue but it still occasionally smarts when it grazes my finger the wrong way.
Nice knife and good value for money. My only con is the blockish handle is not as comfortable as I would like. Not a major issue but would have picked another style had I been able to handle the knife first.
Well not the same knife as the one I had recently for years! Didn't realize there not made in Germany any longer!! That sucks and you can tell from the blade, lil to light and thin for my liking.. I'll keep it and use it but not the same as before unfortunately!!
This is one of the worst companies that I've ever did business with. I will never recommend or do business with this compay.
