Henckels Dynamic 20-pc Self-Sharpening Knife Block Set

I love these knives. Because the block includes self-sharpening slots each labeled for and dedicated to a specific blade, it would be nice if the knives were also labeled. In general, I use a knife, wash, dry, and replace it. However, if I have company helping out in the kitchen, I think this would help eliminate the need for lecturing my guests about proper knife placement. To mitigate this, I taped the visual knife guide to the back of the block.

This set looks great on the counter top and I love that the knives are self sharpening! Watch out! They are very sharp!! These perform so much better than the set we had. I can shop items up very quickly with the Santoku knife.

Good knives, work well for someone who only cooks basic items in their kitchen. Was surprised by how long the knife block is, but surprisingly works well under low cabinets due to that.

I want to like these knives more but... The pros - They are very sharp and feel good in the hand. Outside of that I can't really give it much of a good review. The metal is very thin and flexible. The handles feel cheap and wiggle a lot. I have a feeling they will probably fall apart prematurely. The listing states these are dishwasher safe, however the pretty much rust immediately in the dishwasher. I should have purchased a higher quality version of these knives.

Quality this one is not there for Henckels.
