Henckels Elan 7-pc Self-Sharpening Knife Block Set

These knives are so good I have 3 sets. I bought one for my girls house with the steak knives. Then had to buy her mom the same set. Then I bought the 7 piece for me and it has the same quality and same sharpness as the other set. These knives are amazing. These knives are so good and sharp, you can cut an onion and be done before the 1st tear falls.. I love this brand and these knives.. best kitchen purchase ever...

I have used Henckels knives for a long time. This set works great in our smaller kitchen because it is compact. The handles are comfortable to use.

But my husband purchased a 7 peice set with a self sharpening block. When you slide in the knives it's like music. And the set with dark brown wood, it looks like cherry wood, is sleek, shiny and has industrial stainless steel looking top ! Yes they are sharp and Sexy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives come very well packaged and sharp straight out of the box. How long they stay this way is yet to be seen. The sharpening stones in the block need to be kept in mind, as to cover the entire blade when pulling a knife out of the block they have to be angled a certain way.

Good forged set of knives. The blades are sharp and the built in sharpener ensures they remain sharp for every use. The molded handle with the endcap is comfortable and has a good weight and balance. The set includes all the essential knives! Great price.

A nice and essential block set. It has a good mix of large and small blade shapes. I like the color of the block against the color of the knives, looks really nice on the counter top. The best part is I don't have to sharpen these knives with this block. Knives feel nice in hand and have a nice edge on the blade.

Great set but the paring knife got a rust spot on it within first week of using it
