Henckels Graphite 18-pc Knife Block set

I ordered as a wedding present. Originally I ordered from Amazon. The packaging was trashed and it looked like it was sent to somebody else first, and returned, Then that same package e was sent out to me. Not exactly a very flattering package to give us a gift to someone, but the package I received from Walmart came in perfect shape. It arrived on time within two days. It saved me. Thank you.

The whole set allows you to work with most foods. ( no cleaver for hacking bones** ) You will find the self sharpening base a very cool idea to keep your knifes ready at all times. ** You dont need a cleaver when your dealing with normal meat.

This is my first real knife purchase and I am so so incredibly pleased! The quality is amazing and I am kicking myself for waiting so long to order quality knives! The block looks so nice and I love that my knives will always be sharp.

My husband is a chef and has many portable professional chef knife sets. I purchased this one for everyday use at our home. We were impressed with the quality and the fact that they each have built in sharpeners within the holder. They are sturdy, sharp and the holder is very sleek.

I purchased this knife set on Black Friday to replace a set of Henkel knives my husband and I got for a wedding gift 31 years ago. They did not disappoint! Beautiful set and the storage block is gorgeous and quite BIG. Be sure you have the counter space to accommodate it! This set will be the last set of knives I will ever have to buy. I am a happy cook! 😊❤️

This is a beautiful elegant set. The handles are thick, sturdy and contoured to fit perfectly in your hand. The blades are thick high quality material. I would also like to mention the block is an attractive wood grain that fits our kitchen decor perfectly. So not only is this set a high quality functional set it also looks beautiful on your countertop.

Great quality. Have had an old set for years and still going strong. Just wanted updating. These German steel blades cut fantastically. Only thing negative was that the block is too big taking up more counter space and fake wood veneer came scratched.

I bought this set of knives as a Christmas gift for my wife this past December. Not even a year later and just about every knife has rust spots and the coat on the handles are peeling off yet in the description it claims to be dishwasher safe. Don't waste your money on these knives. I wish I could get a refund for these but it's too late for that. I'll be contacting the company directly about this.

I bought these on cyber Monday. Was super excited as we need a new quality knife set. Opened them this morning %26 the shears %26 utility knife both have rust spots on them. They also look like they may have been used. There were finger prints on a few of the smaller knives upon opening.

Surprisingly low quality from Henckels. We were passed down a set of fully stainless steel Henckels knifes from our grandmother which we loved so Henckels was our first choice.at first glance these knives seemed like and upgrade to the older high quality Heckles knives but we were shocked to see how wrong we were. Right out of the box, the stainless cover on the knife block was completely loose inside the box and no longer attached by the adhesive thy used to attach it. On top of that, one of the knives handle “graphite” finish was somehow already blandly scratched. After scouring the internet reviews for these knives, and despite reading countless reviews of how these knives would rust even after gentle care, we took a chance on these but sadly we had to return them and will be looking elsewhere. Sad to see that Henckels quality is no longer what it was.
