Henckels International 15pc Graphite Knife Block Set

Pretty design. Excellent weight and sharpness. Steak knives, consistently, have brown spots on the blades after washing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives themselves are lightweight, but still have a sense of heft and quality to them. They came sharp and ready to go, and the grip is perfect. They feel great in the hand, and they all cut exceptionally well. The block however leaves much to be desired. It's a simple wood block, however the paint/finish is sloppy, splotchy in areas, and scuffed up on all of the edges/corners. Furthermore, I think a a more premium cap to go over the top of the block would have been nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the product comes with a knife sharpener. I also like how sharp the knives are right out of the box. If they stY this sharp forever or become this sharp with some sharpening skill then it will have been an A+ purchase. What I do not care for is the actual block that the knives are stored in. I believe it to be bulky and sets way too far of the back of my counter.

We purchased this set for our lake cabin. Soooo disappointed. Less than a year old and finish is coming off some of the handles and some of the blades are actually rusting. They do not get hard use and we purchased the sharpeners for them. We don't have a dishwasher at the cabin so they are always hand washed and dried. Cabin is climate controlled year-round. Terrible quality and we sharpen them regularly because they dull so quickly. We won't be purchasing Henckels again.
