Henckels Modernist 14-pc Self-Sharpening Knife Block Set - Black

This set has not disappointed! Very sharp, and cuts through things like they're butter! Very elegant design and easy to handle. Would highly recommend.

These are amazing. They feel good in my hand. They make this lovely slicing noise when used. Also, they are so sharp that even when drying them off, you can hear the “slicing” sound of the metal… Reflecting refinement and sharpness, along with great strength. I am super impressed. Did I forget to measure how well they cut? The cutting is breathtaking. I was left in awe when I cut through a grapefruit with no effort at all. The knife literally did all the work… I had no idea this is what knives were supposed to be like. .

The knives I had before Henckles would no longer sharpen. The Henckles are sharp and slice without much effort. I appreciate the life time warranty too.

I love everything about this knife block, except the block itself could be just a bit shorter but the knives are excellent especially enjoyed the steak knives Well balanced, nice product

Was a Christmas gift and they love them. Very sharp and stylish

I am crazy about this knife set for a bunch of reasons. One, it's as good-looking as I hoped, based on the pictures. Two, the knives are SO sharp, and I believe they'll stay that way thanks to the self sharpening block. Three, I won back a bunch of drawer space in my kitchen, by getting rid of most of my huge mish-mash collection of knives. I could goon and on, but I think you get the idea. Highly recommend!

I love these. I cannot sharpen knives myself and now I do not have to depend on someone else to do them and having a varying sharpness. I sent a set to my sister who was constantly complaining about her dull knives. She loves them as much as I do, and continues to be very impressed.

Returned - Quality was quite poor. There was excess glue on the block from where the metal plate over the slots was attached. I was expecting high quality for the brand and the price. These looked and felt cheap, very different from how they appeared online. I was very disappointed.
