HENCKELS Silvercap 8-inch Chef's Knife

We used to buy all sorts of nice knives, but realized we always ended up using just the Henkels so now we only buy Henkel's. We love their ergonomics, durability and ability to maintain sharpness.

Once the handle hugs your hand upon picking it up, once you experience the well balanced control and make your first slice, you'll know exactly why you need more than a bargain priced knife to slice bread.

I really liked my old knife better. The handle on the old knife was easier to grip.

Blade is sharp and cuts well, but the blade is warped and cuts at an angle

This knife nevers needs sharpening because it has small micro serrations at the edge. Cutting with Silvercap is a little different than other knives, I use more of a back and forth motion, but once you get used to it, cutting becomes much easier. Glade not to have to worry about whether my knife will be dull or sharp!

Handle is way too small for the size of the blade, I will not be buying any more.
