[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used and wanted to upgrade my old set of knives, my bride got us a set and love them even more than our old set, there is nothing wrong with the old ones, just wanted a new set, though the older knives will be added to our camping gear.

For an everyday home cooking environment, you could not ask for a better set of knives. The quality is outstanding and I could not get over how well I could manure this knifes. Like the ones i use at work that get sharpened once a week.

After I moved I was still obsessing over the quality of the knives so I decided to treat myself to set of my own. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace an old cheap knife set and decided to purchase this block set. The block is a gorgeous wood, knives are high quality, sharp and easy to clean and maintain. I use these daily and am super happy with this set.

I bought a set very similar to this many years ago, and finally decided to get a new one. Unfortunately the knives aren't as heavy, so I don't think it'll last as long. Overall, they are fairly decent though

While I'm enjoying the knife set I was disappointed that the knives are of course made in China. I thought these were German made blades.

Purchased this set about a year ago. Immediately disappointed with the quality. The paring knives were too big for my taste, and none of the blades were very sharp. We tried sharpening but they don't hold a good edge. We also thought we were getting knives made in Spain, but these are made in India. So many of the knives look similar, perhaps I mistakenly ordered something different than intended. But for this set -- my advice would be to purchase what you need separately and gradually build a set of a better quality. After only a year, we are already looking to upgrade our knives.

Do not buy this set, extremely poor quality product.
