HERB SCISSORS

I've always cut my fresh herbs with a knife, until I received these scissors as a gift. I wonder to myself why I have never bought a pair for myself any earlier. They are quite wonderful! I make homemade seasoning, so these came in very handy. Cutting rosemary, thyme, mint, cilantro etc. was a very simple job. I even cut green onions with them. Be careful though, the blades are sharp, but that's the reason they work so great! They also come with a cleaner to remove the herbs that get stuck in between the blades. The same pieces doubles as a protective cover, which is great for me because I have two young kids at home that like to pull everything out of my kitchen. A great way to save time! I highly recommend to anyone that loves fresh herbs. Makes a great gift as well!!

I finally have a tool to cut my fresh basil and parsley. I used to use a knife which often left me with pieces too big for my dishes. The handle is comfortable and the blades cut my scallions and herbs in a second. To clean just use the tip of the cover to pull off any residue, rinse and put them in the dishwasher. A very simple idea that works like a charm!

I bought these scissors at great price. They fit my hand perfectly and they're very sharp. I use them for cutting herbs and for paper crafts. I'm very pleased with this product!

We finally moved into the house of our dreams with a garage, Jacuzzi and a very large backyard so we built a rather large herb garden in the backyard this year with basil, parsley, chives, etc. It is now time to benefit from the herbs but it's not always easy to cut them small enough for the recipes we were cooking, hence the need for scissors to cut them easily. The green herb scissors really caught our eye when we were shopping in the kitchen section of our local Walmart. We thought it was a great idea to have the cover double as a cleaning tool and we weren't wrong, it working extremely well as the herbs would not always come clean – Bravo Starfrit!!!

I was excited to use this product to save time and effort cutting green onions. However I found that the scissors tended to mash the green onions up in bits rather than clean cuts. The stems of the green onion were particularly hard to cut. I haven't tried this for other herbs yet. Ultimately it got the job done but wasn't what I expected when I purchased it.

Too thick blades and too dull means the force required to cut is ridiculous, also smashes veggies instead of cutting, wind up with scallions mushed in giant pieces. The cheaper walmart ones are way better, thinner blades, sharp, and after having for several years were getting a bit dull, so I thought I would upgrade, and these are unable to cut as well as my old scissors. Like the comb though.

I tried to cut green onions, they made mush of them. Did not cut in little pieces like I had hoped. I returned them.
