Herbal Essences Purify & Hydrate Vibrant Coconut Milk Shampoo 13.5oz,2-Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shampoo and conditioner are both really thick so I don't need to use much. The shampoo lathers well but can be difficult to rinse out. They detangle well and my hair is quite easy to brush or comb with very little pulling. Once dry my hair looks clean, feels super soft and smells lovely. I like that Herbal Essences work to make their products more natural, and consider sustainability through reducing waste and using renewable energy although I think they could go further. At the moment I'd say the main selling point of this range is the scent which is what you'd expect from Herbal Essences.

This is my new favorite shampoo and conditioner! The first time I used it I noticed a huge change in my hair. I have fine hair that is prone to dryness and frizz. Most products that are supposed to be moisturizing just end up weighing my hair down and making it flat. But this product makes my hair super soft and voluminous with no frizz!

I love using HerbalEssences with bio:renew Shampoo Coconut Milk because it smells helps my hair smell great for seveal days, makes my hair softer and less frizzy, and allows my hair to be more manageable. The first thing I noticed about this product is the high quality bottle. I love the full black shiny design, which makes it easier to locate on store shelves. The overhang on the bottle cap and the tall opening where the shampoo comes out both ensure the shampoo cannot easily leak or drip which I love. The shampoo once I opened the cap smells great. It has a sweet pleasing coconut fragrance. The shampoo has a soft smooth texture, so I had not problem lathering it into my hair. Once lathered, it products a lot of foam which I love but I had no difficulty with rinsing it out. My hair is very dry and can be very frizzy; however, I noticed a change with it within one week of using the product. It was easier for me to run my fingers and a comb through my hair and the texture of my hair was silky and smooth than ever before. I will continue to use this effective product and recommend it to my friends and family because it has make my hair look and feel amazing.

My hair has been extra frizzy and dry since having my son. This product literally made a huge difference after one use of just the shampoo. I haven't even tried the conditioner yet. I thought my hair had changed texture and there was no hope, but after using this, I'm loving my hair again.

This shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair so soft and smooth. Plus...it has the added bonus of being GLUTEN FREE!!! Being gluten intolerant myself, this is an amazing bonus! My hair has no more flakes, my scalp has no more sores, and it's AFFORDABLE! Let me not forget to mention how wonderful it smells. I have definitely found my new shampoo and conditioner.

I was a little skeptical of a moisturizing shampoo as my hair is extremely fine and straight. Normally, these do not clean my hair well enough and leave it greasy and heavy. However, this shampoo left my hair light and clean, but wasn't harsh and left it moisturized. I was extremely surprised at how well it lathered and the fact that there are no parabens! Not to mention, this smells heavenly. Definitely a win with this one!

I have thin blonde hair and it was a little heavy for my hair and made my hair feel a little harsh and oily.

I received this product for free. In the past Herbal Essences has caused itching and small bumps on my back. I tried this new product hoping that the new formula would be better. Unfortunately I had a rash on my back after using this new product and the conditioner. With my sensitive skin, Herbal Essences might not be the product for me. Thank you for the opportunity to try this new formula.

I ordered this online, hoping to purchase a specific shampoo from Walmart's website. When I picked it up in the store, I didn't know whether to laugh or be disappointed. The Store SKU belongs to Herbal Essences Coconut Oil, not Herbal Essences Coconut Milk, which is completely different from the picture shown on the website. I was disappointed. Please fix your online order items to make sure it wont create confusion to both customers and sellers.

I've put this review off for as long as I can, because I truly hate writing reviews like this one. I'd like to preface this by saying, going into the product campaign I had very positive opinions of the Herbal Essence brand. I'd used them frequently in the past, and I'd never experienced any problems. I was excited and motivated to try this product for free, and I did so as soon as the box arrived. That's when it all went downhill. For starters, this product specifically states: "Herbal Essences with bio:renew brings your hair back to life in just 21 days" So, I gave it twenty-one days. Then, I gave it a little longer. It was the same ordeal, regardless. The very first use of this product left my hair feeling dry, damaged, and broken. Now, I do have coarse hair as it is, but I've never felt dryness like I did after using the "Coconut Milk" (More on this later.) shampoo. My fell out in heaps during the shampooing process. Don't believe me? Our shower drain stopped functioning, and my husband had to snake the hair out to make it work again. Initially, I thought that it was just a one-time thing. Like, perhaps, that first use was stripping my hair of all the "bad" in order to make more room for the "good" and that's the reason it was so truly awful. Wrong. Each time I used this product, I got the same exact results and I lost MORE hair. It got to the point that I had to follow up the Herbal Essence Shampoo with a much cheaper coconut oil infused shampoo. Now, I've been working on lifestyle changes over the last five years. I've done a lot of research over various "natural cures" to this or that. So, I can confidently tell you that coconut milk can effectively be used on dry/damaged hair, split ends, as a hair conditioner, and because of the vitamin content it's also used to promote hair growth. Knowing these facts and having experienced such truly terrible results, I finally skimmed through every single ingredient on the label. Would you like to know what my biggest shock was? I'm happy to tell you. The only mention of coconut is coconut fruit extract (which when mixed with water will produce milk), and they've listed it as a "fragrance". So, I'm truly curious to know just how much "coconut milk" is in this shampoo. It smells amazing, but it's horrible for the hair. I have to say after this experience, my opinion of Herbal Essence has changed.
