I chose this conditioning bar because I am looking for healthy products with little or no smell. I ordered the coconut scent. It did smell like coconut, but mostly I smelled what I believe is the shea butter. It isn't a bad smell, but I am super sensitive to many things. I started sneezing immediately after opening the box. I took it out to wash my hair but the scent was so strong I could not. It was all over my hands and I couldn't get the smell off, so I was afraid to put it in my hair. It is probably perfectly nice on your hair, but I am still sneezing and it is not for me. Was super nicely packaged and it IS expensive, but healthy bars usually are, especially hair bars.

Very strong odor. It stinks actually. Who would want this in their hair or scent on you anywhere

My hair has never been picky, but this bar left my hair very sad. When I applied the conditioner, it felt like it immediately dried up. My hair felt crunchy and dry. After the shower my hair had more knots. I tried this conditioner for about a month in hopes that it would get better, but it didn't. I have also noticed many more split ends within my hair. I have since tried a different conditioner bar and it leaves my hair soft and smooth. I would not recommend this conditioner bar, especially if it is your first one. My hair type is a natural color, thick, and very straight.
