5 stars! Used this for slow cooker chicken over rice and it turned out so good. The flavor was perfect and made the whole meal super easy without tasting bland or watered down like some jarred salsas do. Definitely keeping this stocked in my pantry for easy dinners.
Herdez Salsa Verde is a fresh, tangy tomatillo sauce with a mild heat that works great for tacos, enchiladas, and quick meals. It's smooth, flavorful, and not too spicy, making it very versatile. On its own it's simple, but when used in cooking it adds a bright, authentic green salsa taste. A solid, affordable pantry staple. Literally wish it came with more I love it with snacks and dinner plus the texture is amazing.
This HERDEZ Salsa Verde completely surprised me in the best way. The flavor is bold, fresh, and incredibly balanced. Right away, you get a zesty brightness from the tomatillos that gives it a clean, vibrant taste without being overwhelming. It also has a slightly tart kick that keeps every bite interesting and makes it hard to stop dipping once you start. What really sets this salsa apart, though, is the subtle smoky undertone that adds depth and makes it taste much more authentic than many jarred salsas I've tried. The texture is smooth with just enough body to cling perfectly to chips, tacos, burritos, or eggs. The mild heat level is perfect because it adds flavor without overpowering the other ingredients. It tastes fresh, not artificial or overly salty like some store-bought salsas. Overall, this is an easy staple to keep in the pantry, and I'll definitely be buying it again.
this is the first time that I've ever tried this sauce it was incredible we put it on burritos and now I'm addicted it goes on nachos and everything else I cannot believe I've been missing out this whole entire time I don't think I'll ever go back to the picante sauce thanks for such a great product. my 12-year-old absolutely loved it and he puts hot sauce on everything but he loved the flavoring
I recently tried Herdez Salsa Verde Mild and it quickly became one of my favorite green salsas. The flavor is fresh, tangy, and smooth with a mild heat level that doesn't overpower the food. It tastes amazing on tacos, enchiladas, eggs, and even as a dip with tortilla chips. I also love how authentic and balanced the flavor is compared to other store-bought salsas. Definitely a staple in my kitchen now.
This paired well with my tacos, I put this sauce in a restaurant style squeeze bottle and my guests loved it. Texture was great and the spice is very mild just gives the tacos an extra authentic taste
I recently bought my first bottle. Great ingredient for our taco bake casserole. Would have liked more garlic and less cilantro taste. Family loved it and wants more. Reminds us of restaurant type meals.
My husband loves this salsa. He uses it for his weekly meal prep of chicken, lentils, and beans to give it some needed flavor. Then we add it to meals during the week. It gives a good flavor without being too spicy.
I love Herdez Salsas. Always great flavor and freshness. I like the small jar too and I can refill it .
I had very little money and needed salsa and I came across this it tastes great and u cannot beat the price.im so happy I found this.
