giving it five stars because it taste pretty good for nachos and would defo use for tacos. once microwaved it has too much (for me) liquid fat in it so make sure to microwave separately and put on your chips or into your taco using a fork. you can then leave the liquid in the both where it will solidify and easy to trash. it was a welcome taco flavoring not too spicy which i appreciated.

I really like this Herefords taco meat filling. It taste great, its shelf stable and its all ready prepared in a neat package. Its so convenient. It looks kind of greasy looking when you open the package, but one its heated up, it looks completely different. I was bummed for 2 or 3 weeks when my Walmart was out of stock. When they restocked the shlves, I bought six. You have to try this great taco meat from Herefords.

i really like this. its easy for camping or when i dont have time to cook. i either use on a taco shell or mix with cottage cheese heat and eat like queso.

It was OK better than I thought it would be, but not necessarily gonna run out to buy it again right away

We love this taco beef! It's quick and easy to heat up. And we love having it for dinner. We don't necessarily like all the grease but when have you had tacos without grease?

I purchase the Hereford products for being convenient, ready to eat and economical shelf stable beef products. They are great for 1 to 2 servings. The taco filling is one if my least favorite in taste. It lacks flavorful seasonings requiring me to dr it. It is a finely ground beef. It must be removed from the pouch to heat in the microwave. Be mindful of the expiration dates when purchasing.

I bought this for a time saver. It had a very good flavor, but was very greasy. I put it in the refrigerator and it caused the grease to congeal so it was much more noticeable. With this greasiness and the rather high price for small amount, I don’t feel it. It’s worth it.

First appearance is scary. It has red and i mean red chunks of lard from what I can only guess is from cooking the meat(?). Taste strange by its self. Mixes okay with beans.

I don't know what I expected , but this smells and tastes like somewhat taco flavored dog food. No matter how I cooked it, the result was the same. It IS shelf stable, so there's that.
