I was looking to lower my glucose impact. These buns fit exactly what I needed. Together with a quality hot dog, sausage, or meatless dog, these buns add no sugar and 11 grams of protein. I make a cheese meatless dog with these buns and get a 40gram protein meal with low calories and low sugar/carbs. Perfect, a bit pricey, but worth it.
While the price is steep, it's worth it for net-zero carbs in hot-dog buns.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally ate my hotdog on a bun w/fixins like everyone else woo hooo. No more mustard dipping on the fork for me. Toasted the bun it was crisp/chewy perfect and held up to everything I could pile on. But also happened to crave a little air fryer pizza and that turned out great too! Also just to mention, I never hesitate to order because everything arrives so quickly, so fresh.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product and how nice it is to enjoy hot dogs again! I would bring them to room temperature and very gently heat them up in the oven. You can broil them or put them on the grill but for less than a minute until they are just crisp.
Hero makes a very healthy product and the bread is quite tasty. These classic hotdog 🌭 buns are fluffy and they remained fresh for quite a while. 👍👍 So here's my experience: I buttered the buns, sprinkled some garlic powder, and then heated them in my Nuwave oven for five minutes. Then I topped these beauties with roast beef, sweet red peppers, and cheddar cheese; heated for another two minutes to melt the cheese a little more; and then squirted a generous portion of Smash Kitchen's spicy mayonnaise. This was truly a delicious experience! 🤤😋 The only things I noticed that I didn't appreciate was that, even when heated up, the buns were a bit doughy in the center. Now, mind you the outsides were crispy and fresh and, well, overall I enjoyed it. My final thought is $11.00? Really? 😧Let's compromise. If you cut the price in half, then I would absolutely recommend these buns to everyone. 😉 Unfortunately, most cannot afford this healthier bread option. 😔
Too thick of bun; had to remove part of thickness) ( bread) Maybe that’s for added protein . Price higher because of added protei !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not bad hotdog rolls but not good either. They get the softness and fresh down, but something is off about the taste. A sort of aftertaste, or residual letting you know that it's been a trick to processed white flour. I probably won't be ordering these again. I do like the classic white bread.
item was molded lots of old food from walmart . happens often . will be buying food elsewhere. cost to much to get bad food. plus walmart decides what payment you can use . not legal. cant get a refund on buns because they want them returned i threw them out .
all low carb breads have a weird taste, and seeing the price of this one is nearly double I assumed it would be better tasting. it is not. still has that funky taste and it overpowers the meat inside the bread
Four of the buns were molded. the expiration date is march 19th. I paid almost $12 for this item.
