Hero Cosmetics Rescue Balm +Red Correct, 15ml

I'm a red head with rosacea, and permanent redness from broken capillaries etc. I can't wear cover up, ALL of them give me acne. Doesn't matter if it's “for sensitive skin” “derm tested” … I can't wear cover up. I also have issue with ingredients from sunscreens! It has to be reef safe, nano free kind, so mineral only. ANYWHO. My young niece has redness like me and introduced me to this product, and let me tell you, it's been a life saver for me. As long as my skin is well moisturized I can dab this on, a little goes a long way. It's an instant blur! I love it for when I have flare ups. I'm 53 so I have some wrinkles and fine lines now, and it even blurs them! If you're like me, red, sensitive and looking for just a lil touch up, this is your go to!

This is a product that has recently been discontinued, that I have relied on for years. I was able to find it for far less than some opportunistic sites were charging for it, and I could stock up until I am able to find a replacement.

This has been a hard product to find so happy I could still purchase it!

It's a good product. It seems to be effective and doing what it says, but it is a little bit on the higher end price wise.

The old formula was amazing and I would give it a 4–5 stars. This new formula if I could give it zero stars I would. TERRIBLE formulation!! The old formula would cover the redness. The new formula does not cover redness. You dab it on and try to blend it and it looks like your skin is dry and flaky. Then, if you try to blot gently to blend in where it looks dry and flaky, it completely disappears and there's no coverage. Do not like that it changes color either – depending on your skin tone, if you have a lighter skin tone, this will look like you don't know how to wear foundation. It looks like you put on foundation that doesn't match your skin tone, and didn't blend it at all. Hero Cosmetics, please go back to the old formula!!! You've lost a customer until you do.

The original product was fantastic for my redness prone skin and provided great coverage. But this new formula is so disappointing and it immediately irritated my skin. It provides little to no redness coverage, felt really sticky, and kind of just made me look shiny and sweaty instead of how the original formula looked. I now have to find a different product that will work the same way the old version did. I do not recommend this new version at all!

This new formula sucks and does not cover anything. Bring back the new formula!!
